Andy, it's called OPSEC (mil-speak for operational security.) Letting everyone know who, where, and your personal situation exposes you to cruddly people that don't like preppers for one reason or another. Start a conversation with any Admin to get things changed, or you (probably the better way) can re-register with a different user name and start over. We'll then delete your current account after you're set up with a new one and let us know you're up and running. In any case, fixing your avatar is worth the small effort. Welcome anyhow. In time, as your experience dictates, private conversations sometimes use proper names between members happens.
