    Do you remember Beslan?

I have on and off spent the last few days doing some research as I had somewhat forgotten about this incident as a result of a CCW class I took earlier this week. During the class, the concept came up that similar attack has been planned and in the works for the US school system which would result in 10,000+ dead.

Given the fact that almost every mass murder has taken place in a gun free zone, I am left to wonder in what condition of "defense" do we find our current schools? If the aforementioned plan is slowly coming together by the patient planners, then will our children suffer the same fate of rape, torture, and death as the children of Beslan?

Locally, I found out that our school system is extremely anti-gun. What is even less comforting is the fact that not even the police/sheriff patrol cars are allowed to carry an AR-15 onto school ground? What type of madness is this when those sworn to serve and protect are disarmed by their own constituents?

As a homeschool family, I wonder where the parents are of public school children hiding behind the fictitious faced of safety without firepower.

    Our society buries the

When I read things like in the American Thinker piece, I have two reactions: first, it makes me mad as hell; and second, it highlights why people (Americans) are skeptical and wary of Muslims in the first place.

For the sake of argument, let's just say that these ultra-orthodox, wahabi sect nutjobs are a small minority and don't really reflect how the majority of Muslims see the world.

I don't care. Until the day comes where I can pick terrorist muzzie from peace-loving muzzie because one glows purple and the other orange, I am going to be wary and cautious around all muzzies (unless I know them personally). Forget the left's chants about bigotry or racism and trying to make me feel guilty--F that!; my solution is the easiest and most pragmatic one that will do best at keeping my family safe. Basically, if I can't trust one of them, I'm not going to go out on a limb and trust any. The consequences are too dire.

The real issue though is that instead of condemning the behavior of these murderers--all in the name of Islam, Islamic leaders/clerics sit quiet and probably secretly smile at what is going on. To a lesser extent, the same is true with black culture in this country--community leaders sit quiet, all but condoning poor behavior instead of condemning it.

There's going to come a time when we are going to have to take the gloves off. You're either going to have to show you're against the behavior carried out by radical/terrorist muzzies, or, you're on their side. You just can't sit on the fence here or take no side. What they do is wrong and there is no gray area.

That is crazy. Our local people carry AR's or M14's any and everywhere.

Unfortunately, you can't look at someone and tell if they are a Muslim, radical or not. Many Chechens are radicalized Muslims, and have blond hair and blue eyes. The 9/11 bombers went out of their way not to look Muslim.

I've been around a lot of Middle Easterners, and I have been mistaken in the past as to the origin of someone. I casually knew a couple of guys in California, who were vendors at a flea market that I often visited, whom I assumed were Hispanic. They were actually Iraqi. My head pivoted so quickly, it about fell off of my shoulders when I heard one of them address the other in colloquial Iraqi. I had no idea, because they both spoke almost perfect, unaccented American english, and both spoke passable Spanish.

That is the real danger to racial profiling. If you are focusing too much on the obvious, you may miss the less than obvious. Obviously, some common sense is in order; if it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, at least throw it in the water and see if it floats.

Sorry, I got confused for a second. I thought you meant "Aslan" and my heart leapt from my chest. I just couldn't go on with Aslan dead, no way.
    Aslan11.

But...yeah. I have nothing nice to say about Muslims, Islam, religion or humanity in general at this point in time.

I am adding Bass guitarists to my list of people that I distrust and hate. Having recently found out that I am a racist and a bigot, I might as well piss a few more folks off. My father-in-law thinks I have turned my wife into a Democrat because we both refuse to choose the Extreme Right and dance the Romney Dance. the horror of what man is capable of inflicting is nothing new; it has been with us since feeding Christians to the Lions or before and will stay with us util Cain bludgeons Able with a rock once more.

I get what you're trying to say and that was my whole point: until the day comes where the bad guys glow orange and the good guys glow purple, I'm going to be wary around all of them because there's no way to tell--I'm not just talking brown people here*. It's safer to assume they want to do me harm until proven otherwise** than to do the reverse. Call me (rhetorically) a profiler, bigot, racist, xenophobe....I don't care and won't sleep any differently at night.

Like I said, until the good ones start condemning the bad one's behavior, what we have now will never change because it's endemic. And...the "good ones" I'm referring to are just the ones that aren't trying to kill us. What is needed are people of standing who believe this is wrong to condemn this way of life.

    * I have a co-worker friend who just accepted an assignment in Kazakhstan for a couple of years. I told him he was nuts...too many muzzies and you just don't know who is who there. You're dropped in a sea of strangers who mostly speak a foreign language and some of whom want to do you harm...no thanks.

** One of my best friends is a Sri Lankan (now U.S. citizen) and would never condone the actions of the LTTE.

The point I was trying to make is that their is a clear plan by those that hate us to use this Beslan example as a pre-cursor to a national multi-school take over that would make 9/11 look like a childs game. Imagine what would happen if 50 schools were taken over with 50,000 kids held hostage in a similar manner. Now imagine the girls being raped by the men as well as their guns and the male teachers all being executed. This is the one of the plans that they have in store for us.

But our school systems refuse to listen. Now this happened in israel in 1975 at the Netiv Meir Elementary school in Ma'alot. What was the Israeli response ---- arm the parents, teachers, school security, etc. Nothing makes it more difficult to repeat an attack than arming the people.

So, for those who send their children to public school.....what is your plan? How are you going to influence your school board? What steps can we take to change the misconception of guns from a negative to a positive.
