Very interesting, this is the first piece that actually makes it "click" in my head. I must be dense.

Indeed. This is a major piece to the puzzle. Without this, we are all just left grasping at straws. This makes it perfectly clear.

After reading this blog, I went back and read everything I could find about Benghazi. It took a couple of hours, but it was well worth it. Kind of reminds me of "Blackhawk Down", except the Mogadishu mile was never gotten to.

Imagine, the two CIA/ex-SEAL operatives holding off dozens of men for SIX and a half hours, only to be killed by the indescriminate explosion of a morter- and the whole time the morter crew was painted and marked for an airstrike that didn't come.

Please correct me if I get any of the details wrong...

All because our ambassador was (doing his job) selling arms to the Turks who were the middle men for the Syrian rebels. The rest is conjecture, but it fits if you place all the pieces together- the Russians are pissed off because the Syrians are their friends, threatens to expose the operation. Our Govt responds by deciding to shut it down, but also to create an "october suprise" by having the ambassador kidnapped and then exchange the blind sheik to get him back. Unfortunately, the CIA operatives didn't want this to happen and intervened. The ambassador was killed in the process, and the whole mess was covered up by blaming it on a stupid internet video demonstration turning into a riot.

Sounds like a James Bond movie plot, but I have no doubt in my mind that this administration would pull a stunt like this. Their track record supports it.

OR, this could be a false flag from someone, oh say, in the administration or cabinet in order to try out some of those neat little EOs and other regs written or updated in the last ten years.Wouldn't put it past some.

I have to wonder if anyone considered crashing the unarmed drone into the mortar crew/tube. That would have solved most of the tactical problem. I know, they weren't interested in solving any problem.

Had I been the drone operator, I'd have asked permission to buzz the mortat crew and "accidentily" crashed it into the ground 10-20 feet short of the tube. Of course, I'd be in jail right now. }:^)

The only problem I see with that is the spilling of "sensitive" equipment that might be recovered.

My opinion, for what little it's worth.... ALL politicians, military 'leaders' and CIA leadership involved in this fiasco need to be HUNG by their nads.... politically at least. Jobs need to be lost - this was utterly criminal.
