ditch witch I do stupid crap, so you don't have to

I bet there are some parents there who'd rather have their kids alive and traumatized than that money.

Notice the plaintiff is most likely the parent of a kid who heard the melee over the school's intercom.

I've met some good and honorable lawyers that would have refused the case. Ol' Irv ain't one of them.

Really I expected the first lawsuit to pop up to be from a parent of a deceased kid against Bushmaster.

"The unidentified client, referred to as Jill Doe, heard "cursing, screaming, and shooting" over the school intercom when the gunman, 20-year-old Adam Lanza, opened fire, according to the claim filed by New Haven-based attorney Irv Pinsky.
"As a consequence, the ... child has sustained emotional and psychological trauma and injury, the nature and extent of which are yet to be determined," the claim said."
Sounds like a day on a firing range to me. I should be worth BILLIONS! As for sueing Bushmaster, again, they are going after the weaker target.

Someone is always trying to cash in on tragic events. The lawyer probably called every family 50 times trying to drum up some business- ambulance chaser!!! I watched his interview last night and he is a piece.......
But with today's society, we all knew the lawsuits were coming.

I’m not a lawyer but it seems to me the DOE, Commissioner and Board of Education are going to have a difficult time arguing they took “…appropriate steps to protect children from foreseeable harm." If the petitioner is successful in the lawsuit, it will greatly strengthen NRA’s position of trained armed security in the schools nationwide and will widely be accepted and endorsed as the solution to school children’s safety by parents and educators.

I don't know what's worse, the media trying to shove a michrophone in every parent's face as this horrific event unfolded or the people trying to profit from this.

    "Bullitproof" backpack maker included. maddd

Well, in their defense, the bulletproof backpack has been around for sometime before Sandyhook. I had thought about getting one as early as September of last year for my kids. Seemed to be more cost effective to just buy a trauma plate and stick it in there, but at least they are thinking.

True but I'm not going along with the herd on that one.
