I think I might drive down for a couple days of it. Looks like about 750 miles. In the old days, that was a one day trip; that might be a bit more than I want in one day, but flying is out of the question. So I'll take two days if needs be. Besides, I have a cousin in Dayton where I can crash. Truth is, I'm a lot more interested in patting the paws of other monkeys and prowling the gun shop than shooting.

I'm looking at my calendar and would be flying in on Thursday night with the hope that @phishi could pick my up from the airport and flying out Sunday or Monday. When I used to go to the shoot every six months, I'd drive and camp. I might bring my tent and bag but won't have any of my normal load out gear for food, coffee etc.
It's been 25 years since I've been there and it's only a short drive away. I need to go. I hear ammo sells out in just a few hours on day one. AT
A number of years ago, we bought a pallet of .223 and around 2000 rounds of .50BMG This was before the increases in ammo prices but i think my Federal .223 was around $90 per 1000
