Next Saturday we will be hosting a movie night at our place, in honor of Sylvester Stallone. Tea, sodas, popcorn and snackies will be served, BYOB ok too. Invitations say to text one of three fav, over the top shoot-em-up Stallone movies to me when RSVPing; First Blood, Cobra, or Expendables II. Winner to be shown Sat night. $5 per person donation requested. Proceeds to be donated to the NRA in honor of Sylvester Stallone. Whaddya think? I ran it past a few of my gun owning friends and they all laughed their butts off, then texted me their pick to watch. How funny would it be to use these anti-gun actors own movies to raise money for the NRA? I mean sure we could all send $5, $10 but the irony amuses me.
If the venue wasn't so damnably far away....I'd pay $20 just to see what footwear your plates of meat (rhyming slang) are actually shod with!
Pawnshop finds lol! Except for Expendables II, that'll be Netflix, but so far First Blood seems to be in the lead. I'll be wearing the Zombie Stompers. Seems appropriate in an odd way.
Well 15 people attended, we had a lot of fun, and will be sending Stallone a thank you note for his part in helping us raise nearly $200 for the NRA.
Who's the next anti-gun actor/actress best known for their shoot-em-up movies that needs to assist in raising NRA scratch?
