Sir, there are mostly good dogs in this world, but they are like people, and there are some dogs, that should be put down with a bullet. Pitt-bulls aren't dangerous, because they will drowned you in drool, those jaws can crush your skull. Their behavior is a matter of training and attention, but just one bad day, can kill someone. They are not like a mindless rifle, these things can take offense from a smell, a hat, a sound they don't understand, or just fear, and it he has your hand, you will not be getting it back. If he gets a hold of your pet, your pet will die. I have put my neighbor on notice. If his Pitt-bull is running loose, again, I will check the sights on my rifle. They MUST be insured here, leashed, chained, or fenced at all times outdoors here. He has two. I have had hundreds of dogs through here in the last couple of years, but never trust ANY dog to have only good days, and never trust a Pitt-bull, or he may just kill someone you care about.
So because they r pitt bulls you would shoot them or if he had any dog running loose you would shoot them ...
Not what I said. Watch Pitts very closely for any sign of aggression. If it shows aggression, I'll kill it. And if the neighbor fails to control that beast, as the law requires. I will kill it. There are two types of dogs on that list of restricted dogs, and they have one thing in common, (Jaws that can tear you into little pieces.) I will leave it be, as long as it does not pose a risk to me and mine, but it gets no second chances. It is a loose cannon (if you know that phrase) too dangerous.
I get along very well with dogs, I like 'em fine. but no dog can be trusted all the time, and when a Pitt snaps, it can be fatal.
