No MKMs ???... sort of curious... how's that itch?... and what's kind of pointy sharp thing is it itching for?...
A nice machete! It doesn't have to be full size- a short one would be nice since I have a bunch of good full sized ones. Spring steel would be great! Another idea would be the longest Tanto blade (14 or so inches) that you could fit into your heat treat oven. O2 tool steel, differentially heat treated with heat shielding paste, etc... Everybody always tells me I ask for too much.
If anybody ever starts making hand-forged gladius swords without too much of a bulbous counterweight, sign me up for one. Those babies would sell like a blonde prostitute in Asia.
Sorry took me a bit to get back. I think something big, a sword would be cool, I could get behind one of those broker.
i will put some of my work later like i say it has to warm up lol but i will see what i can make like a camp knife or machette
Seriously, if any of you guys make knives and would like to make some money, you are missing out. Big time. Let me provide you with an example. Go to YouTube. Create an account if you haven't already. Make a few videos about your knives. Play music if you don't want to talk. Use good lighting. Make friends. Next, head over to Gear Bastion and start an account for free: Gearbastion Artisan Home I will even give you a few YouTube folks who are into knife making, forging and the like and are very good people, just to help you out a bit... Edwyrd Karn - YouTube Trollsky Custom Knives - YouTube Doberman Knives - YouTube www.gavko.info = My knife cave - YouTube What does all this mean? Simple. Some of these guys and many others are selling their knives quite easily. In fact, let's look at Doberman Knives' latest. He listed the knife yesterday. I missed the email. Guess what? Already sold. It wasn't cheap, either. He said it sold in about 18 minutes after listing it. Nice knife... Just saying. If I had any inclination to have some fun with this, I would. I am into leather currently. =) Maybe some day. Leather is so much fun!
Just got a coke forge and am hoping to start playing with it soon, I want to make one of those woodsman pals, not sure if anyone has seen them but they're like a cross between a machete and bolivian hatchet, Ive found info on the net and have a friend on the rendevous circuit but if anyone has tips I would be gratefull.

Like the blade profile on the Murder but not the handle so much. Would have to hold it in the hand to see how it felt. Byte
