I find him annoying but clearly passionate aboot gardening.
Some good info and he responds to his viewers - so that's a good start.

Funny, I thought he was pretty easy to listen to. Then again, maybe the fact that I was stuck in the office on a rainy day with no real work to do made it easy.

The veggies he talks about in the OP - I think he called them tree collards - is that anything like the kale you talk about? I grow my own salad greens indoors, and since my kid thinks it's fun to eat fresh picked "leaves", I'm looking to expand the menu for her benefit. If it's grown indoors, I imagine I could do it too and further improve her diet...

Tree collards are perennial while kale is not. Can't say I have any experience with them but hey - give it a go! Kale is gross but kinda pretty and super dense in nutrients. I'm experimenting this year with a few different soil combos to see what works best in my area of BC....having an early problem with slugs and snails....grrrrr.
I think if I was trying to get a kid into gardening I'd do some of the crazy Orca beans, Giant Sunflowers (Golden Ratio Math Lesson) and obviously popcorn. Maybe in a kiddie-pool low maintenance bag garden.

Watching the gents tubes, he bought a Swedish composter , looked like it was better than any of the plastic ones from china around here. I ordered one to see if he's correct, Quality cost's but pays. He gave a link for a good price.
Our next thing is making compost tea , from Rabbit poop plus ..
Our compost in the winter go's through the green house outside garburator / waste disposal then into the bucket, but it's never really warm as his was showing.. Swedes make good products ..

LOL, yeah, I hear it's nasty... mostly from you! ;)
I might try it, but I'm thinking more about the nutrition value for the kiddo. Not so much about trying to get her into gardening; she's happy doing just about anything as long as we're doing it together and actually does seem to enjoy planting seeds, caring for plants, etc. She's only 5, and I know I can't expect that to last forever, but what I can do is take small steps like this (among other things) right now, to help improve her overall health and well-being, and hopefully reinforce the notion that fresh food is "normal" and that junk food, fast food, etc is OK sometimes but not the standard of what constitutes food. Good stuff now, and will serve her well later in life.

Unless it's as gross as you say it is, I suspect she'll be happy to eat it because of the "fun factor" of picking fresh food and eating it. Not only is it good for her, but I get to laugh quietly to myself as I use the same tactics that McDonald's uses (fun factor) for the same thing (getting a kid to eat what I want her to eat) but for totally opposite effect. [woot] In addition to the more traditional plants, we will have pink popcorn, some red/white beans that look kinda like orca beans, and some purple tomatillos. Not sure what I'll do with them if they produce, but hey, fun factor!

Add chives. Idiot proof, my ex couldn't kill them without a rototiller. Perennial. Pick and eat on the way past the bed.

It prolly wouldn't be so nasty if I didn't overdo it so much.

    This gets ignored but Amendment IV of the Bill of Rights says;

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

If you study it there needs to be a name attached to that warrant. I know it doesn't happen as per the law but the complaint needs to be traceable. I would expect a full apology from the PD and expect a reprimand to the neighbor for a false police report. False report because if you can't tell the difference between potatoes and pot then you have no business accusing anybody of a crime.

The apology from the PD is for the inconvenience (they were doing their job via a false report) but the false report from the neighbor is the real issue.

Say can somebody help me in how to delete an accidental post on this forum. On most forums there is a delete post selection. I have not found it here.

In this case when I posted it came up with a warning that something went wrong and I needed to wait 16 seconds before continuing. I did, hit post and double message.

Is there any such creature here?
