(He apparently believes that bigger is better.) Traveler With Pressure Cooker Arrested in Detroit Posted May 13, 2013 12:56 PM CDT (Newser) – A Saudi Arabian man was arrested upon arrival at Detroit Metropolitan Airport today after a series of suspicious incidents: First, Hussain Al Kwawahir was found to have a page missing from his passport; he told officers he didn't know how it had been removed. Then, officers found a pressure cooker in the man's luggage; pressure cookers were used in the homemade Boston Marathon bombs. The man will be arraigned on charges that he lied to a Customs agent about the pressure cooker, and was traveling with an altered passport. Al Kwawahir, who told agents he was visiting his nephew at the University of Toledo, initially said he brought the pressure cooker for his nephew because they're not sold in the US, the Detroit News reports. He later changed his story and said his nephew already owned a US-bought pressure cooker, but it was broken.
