I think we all know that more freedom is never on the ballot and if you did manage to get something that gave us all more freedom we would soon realize that whom ever submitted such legislation would soon find themselves taking a dirt nap. This is why there were people like William Wallace all through out history.
It also explains why William Wallace was hung, drawn and quartered for his troubles. It never seems to deter rebellion enough for some to get and keep the revolutionary ball rolling.
Freedom? Most Americans can't handle freedom! They want the government to take care of them, to coddle them. Yep, they can't be held responsible for taking care of themselves and their family and friends. The nanny state will take care of thems that can't or won't .. trust me .. they are here to help.
Its not too late because we are still outside of the cage. That is a powerful tool. Use it now before its gone.

Saying goes--when a population finds that it can vote itself money then it is on the way to failure. We reached that point last year where the takers are more than the producers. Money just does not appear out of nowhere--it is produced by the "sweat of our brow". The current( and past) administrations think that the presses are what makes the money. This "house of cards" financial scheme is going to end--and I fear badly. Just get ready---crisis is the absence of preparation.
