Did a walk by at the Gun display case today and found all models as before. Colt standard
Colt Law Enforcement Carbine was priced at 1K, Colt Advanced Law Enforcement Carbine at $1200 and change.

I left them where I found them.

AR-15 variants all over the place here in upper mid florida. Most higher than comfort price level. DPMS seems available at lower prices than most others. (around $775).

DPMS hasn't raised their Wholesale/Dealer prices like all the other outfits, have...... HOWEVER, their backorder is near 12 - 18 months.... I have some on order, and it just doesn't pay to get all upset, that they are so backlogged, and call/bug them.... They are building them as fast as they can, and still keep their quality the same.... .....

Traded a rock island 1911 for a dpms before the panic. The rifle has never had one hiccup.

DPMS did raise a bit there prices but not like others that shot through the roof. Like you BT I just sit and wait on my kits.

But those memories of 1000 rounds for $100 of the great Chicom stuff was hard to beat.

I can remember the day when I thought $150/1000 crappy PMC (darn crimped primer pockets!) case was too much. I'm glad I sold the two barrel-burner Norinco 120rd drums I used to have. They were fun, but that kind of fun would cost a fortune today. :(

VFW, I was told if Obama signs the UN Gun treaty (as he says he will) will halt all surplus ammo (and guns) into the country

It's a very rare occasion that I load up the 75 round drums this past few years. My money tree must have died because the harvest has gone to nil...maybe I need a bailout. :blah:
