Selling this for a friend... Blued first year of production for New Models (1973) according to serial number. His grandfather won it in an Elks raffle and shot less than 50 rounds...it actually appears unfired, but about half of one of the 50 rd boxes of shells that came with it are gone. It has been on a shelf for at least the past 20 years (since he died). Has original box, manual and stub of warranty card in addition to just over 200 rounds of ammo (the ammo/boxes themselves may have collector value). Has both .22LR and 22WMR cylinders with a red velvety bag for the extra. $450 takes all for a FTF in Oregon. Shipping negotiable and price would need to be enough to convince me to go through the hassle of interstate handgun sales. I am also thinking about selling off a few of my breakdown rifles...probably an M6 Scout in .410/22LR and a Rossi equivalent of the Marlin Papoose with barrels in the same calibers...open to offers on those...
What I want to shout is "dibs on the M6 scout....." but what I can say, is hope you find a loving home for them. Darn regs
Information about the M6-scout, is what drew me to this site in the first place, roughly 4 years ago. I would like to know what it is worth to you, and where it might be? Perhaps a PM would be best...
Probably That's why I said taking offers...not sure what it's worth to me until I find myself saying OK...It's in S. Oregon
The single six is a beautiful revolver. Following stricter and stricter laws here it seems like I'll never get to own one :/ But seeing videos on youtube and whatnot of it is still legal, I hope. Hope you'll find a good home for the little lady
Single 6 and M6 no longer available... Turned out $500 and a small welding job was what I would take for the M6...
Single Six is still made. (My new model was off the shelf at the LGS in '73 for under 90 frns.) MSRP for the new like mine is 569frns.
