The Wildcat

Someone really needs to send a copy of "The Terminator" to the geniuses at the U.S. Department of Defense’s DARPA initiative, because they’re clearly not concerned with the future of the human race.
Meet their latest creation: the WildCat, a wireless robotic speed freak that runs faster than most of us bipeds. Give it half a brain and a switchblade and we’re doomed:
Built by Boston Dynamics and funded by DARPA, the WildCat is a cousin of the terrifying “Cheetah” robot unveiled last year. Though the Cheetah can hit speeds up to 28 mph -- that’s faster than Usain Bolt -- the WildCat manages a “mere” 16 mph (comparatively, the average human being can sprint for very short distances at about 15 mph).
On the other hand, the WildCat has no cords keeping it tethered to its human overlords. It just wirelessly (and tirelessly) runs free, guided by some sort of remote control that I’m sure another robot will soon enough reprogram to only work when accessed by a robot. At least it’s incredibly loud, so you don’t have to worry about the Wildcat sneaking up on you or anything.
But this is how it starts, people…and we all know how it ends.

Probably taste good, But hard to clean ?

What was that stupid statement I made about battery capacity? After watching the vid, that sucka has an IC engine. So the question remains, what is the range? How about payload?

Check this bad boy out... it can determine how to counter slick conditions or someone pushing it around.... and the range appears to be pretty good.

hard to tell from the video, but you do see it flip over a few times and they did not show it righting itself so my guess, it can not
