I finally went ahead and ordered a bucket of Remington 36-grain hollow point .22LR (1400 rounds) from MidwayUSA website. $59.99 + shipping (~$72 total), and backordered until the end of December, maybe longer. But at least it's a damned good price, even with shipping, and will eventually make it into their warehouse, and shipped out to me. Limit of one, but I figure as soon as I get the e-mail saying it's shipped, I'll order another one......and keep doing that, until I've got about ten of those buckets stacked up in my closet!

That 36-grain Remington is good stuff, IMHO. A lot of people like to knock it, but I've shot quite a bit of it and even though it's nothing special, I can't say anything bad about it. At approx 5 cents/rd, that's a fair price too.
