Well I have always loved camping, some of my relatives were or are in the military, so they kinda taught me some stuff, and one day I was reading about bugging out and survival stuff and I kind of decided that I needed to be ready for anything, so I have researched it for about a month and then I thought why don't I find a forum on this so I can learn more, and I googled survival forum and picked you guys out of all of them,

Welcome Logan, being prepared is a multi faceted approach to life and living when doors are closed to supplies or worse. Grandfather used to say " the creek never runs so full that it does not run dry". Figure we are about to see just how dry it can get. If you live in the city or thick urban area then you should have some alternate locations planned on outside that area/and alternate routes out.
We live in the "country" but have the ability to leave permanently if necessary to points to the four winds. Remember the basics---food, water, shelter, meds/first aid/ then the "amenities" which are also necessary--arms, ammo, tools, communication, food reproduction abilities, filtration of air/water, etc.
Do not get into a panic mode but make haste to get your supplies up. IMO, time could be shorter than we want to admit. Bulk storage of grains will go a long way and cheaply. Wheat/corn/and mill will fill a lot of hungry days.
