I think the world has been running along the edge of the cliff since the first use of Atomic weapons. With the additions of chemical and bio weapons we are dangerously close to some super flu weapon being used by the Elite (who have the antidote) to reduce world populations down to Agenda 21 requirements. In the name of a sustainable future.

"As always, new technologies hold the promise of doing great good, supplying new sources of clean energy, curing disease, and otherwise enhancing our lives. From experience, however, we also know that new technologies can be used to diminish humanity and destroy societies," the board wrote. "We can manage our technology, or become victims of it. The choice is ours, and the Clock is ticking."

A: 'Technology' *can* be used to destroy societies?! It HAS been used to do that, so B: we have become victims of it. Doesn't have to be weapons per se either, imagine the chaos if people didn't crap stuff to watch on TV or the internet to keep them zombie-fied.

Reading that does make me think. I don't know if I am as worried about a nuclear attack as I am of a bio/chem attack. I recall in the 80's the threat of nuclear war seems greater. One of my favorite books is Alas Babylon. During those times it was a huge fear. Have we just become used to the threat or is nuclear annihilation not as great of threat as it was?

My number one fear is Bio-terrorism. Once you see the results of a biological attack... you will never take it lightly again. One has to be prepared for things such as a train derailment like we have seen recently, or a bio attack in your AO. Gas mask, a means to seal up your house, water reserves, a plan to decon and so on. Many things to think about and address....

A nuke is high on the list as well and many items correlate to preparation for bio issues.

Rid this world of only two things, and we will have peace and prosperity.

    CORPORATIONS
    PRIVATE BANKS

You can factor in all the nukes you want, without those TWO, there is very little possibility for catastrophe. We can take this even further and rid ourselves of war entirely by eliminating organized religion. Now, wouldn't THAT be something?

While. You're at it, just rid the world of oxygen, and the entire world will be at peace. Simple solutions are not always the best answer.

Well I agree with your premise and that sounds delicious... there are many groups out there with evil designs that have nothing to do with corporations, banks or other established groups- even religious ones.

It is these groups where I perceive mayhem to come from... for those other groups can not control the agenda of these rogues..... and they are striving every day to make a weapon...and a statement. And if one of these groups succeeds... the rest of us pay the price for their tenacity. Look what two wacko's did with pressure cookers as an example.

What can we do about that, not much directly, but we can prepare for the different contigencies...... and survive when most will not.
    YMMV

And how insignificant they must be. :)
Without the corporate police state, the corporate media and doomsday religious cultists, imagine how unimportant this would have been on a national level. I see your point, and it is well received.

While it is true to say that all answers are replies, at the same time, not all replies are answers. Why pretend this is complicated, unless the intent is to create the illusion of complexity for ulterior purposes? It's not always the best idea to take a shower or cook a meal, since most accidents in the home occur in the bathroom or kitchen, yet here we are, facing our fears on a daily basis with certain resolve. Imagine a world without proper sanitation or stoves --is this the type of world you want to live in? No, I think not. I think not, I say!

Sometimes I believe you argue just for the sake of arguing. Regardless, my initial premise was rather inviting, so I shall not blame you this time.

Oh it's not going to matter in the long run. One of those scientist types re-sequencing a long since eradicated virus/bacteria accidentally gets out of the lab, or nature coming up with a new novel way to kill us.

I don't think it will be a planned attack by humans, but by nature itself.

@Brokor, anytime when you point a finger and say "all fault lies here", you're wrong. So saying get rid of these people, and everything will be fine, is always false. It didn't work for Hitler either.

I agree with you. We just think of people but Mother Nature can and will kick our butts. I think people don't really think this way because it makes us small and powerless.

Your car stopped running because the alternator is broken. All fault lies with the alternator. Replace it and fix your car.

There, your argument is now invalid.
I NEVER said "get rid of people", and I NEVER cited anything like it. You have twisted the original meaning of my post in a FAILED attempt to suit your own agenda. Stop it now, please.

    Enough with these childish games.
