The high prices in the US makes this a luxury.

Why would I need a "Bullet Proof Car" when there isn't a "Road that connects to Anywhere, within 250 miles"..... Inquiring minds, would like to Know......

There's a documentary on Netflix about that. They show this company doing a refit of some kind of Suburban (all big SUVs are Suburbans to me), as well as talk about the differences between countries and clients. Apparently in the ME it's all about the status so they have top of the line vehicles done, but in Mexico they don't want the attention so the company has to figure out how to add all this weight to Camrys. Neat to watch. I forget how much it cost, but I want to say the SUV they were doing came in around 50k.

@ BTPost - You have an airplane! Maybe there are some preppers (just like me) who are interested in buying a reinforced car.
@ ditch witch - Thanks! I can't find the documentary but it's true! And bulletproof cars done in Mexico are less expensive. I've just found a bullet proof Range Rover for 22,500$. But of course it may be a scam.

You make assumptions, NOT supported by the facts... Just because my Avitar has a plane in the background does NOT mean I own an Aircraft, or even have a License to Fly.... And Aircraft are notorious for being Bullet Fragile.... ......

Nothing is bullet proof. Just resistant.

None of them were "bullet proof". I was surprised to find out most armored trucks were only Level 1 or 2... apparently only good for handgun protection.

Dogs & sleds are quite popular in AK. Ever done a dog sled?

BTW- I wouldn't bulletproof my car. It would get awful gas mileage plus, why on earth would anyone want to shot at wonderful little ole me? [bateye]

Nope, no doggies around here..... But I do LOVE my Yamaha Rhino 660.... Not bullet proof, or even bullet resistant... But will go anywhere I need to go, rain, snow, or whatever weather is happening...

Oh, and Tracked Vehicles are NOT Street Legal in most States, in the USA... EVEN rubber Tracked Ones.... That is why most of the CopShops are getting Tired Rigs from the Feds instead of used Bradley's

I had to google the Rhino. I like those buggys. I see them at Bass and the dirtbike shops. They look so fun.
