    Hi Frank, welcome back from your hiatus. Things have indeed changed over time, and the sheep are even more complacent these days... they recieve more subsidies & free stuff daily, to allow them to continue to leach off the rest of society. Please be aware that anything you text, post, email or say on your laptop or smart phone is being monitored by the gov, they are everywhere and evidently nobody cares to much.... :(

    it has become quite concerning, the lack of knowledge the general public aka sheeple has regarding the current state of this union. They are like vulchers when the government offers free stuck not considering the consequences of the tax payers, hell they dont pay tax so maybe us who have the idea that we can work hard and save to be successful and productive in this society are the problem because we are delaying the inevitable.

    We are a socialist nation at the moment. But as soon as we run out of other peoples money (yours and mine) to give to the entitled, the gig is up.

    We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

    Such eloquent words. Why can we not start over again. How many members of the first Congressional Congress were there? We can form a more perfect Union and establish Justice. Domestic Tranquility may be way distant, but common Defense is within our grasp. We may not prosper under the present reign, but we can build an underground economy and we can begin to take our Liberty back! One slice at a time! And there has to be a way to make the corporate government pay for it.

    I think many of us are members of the Underground Republic. We took our oaths to defend this wonderful document seriously and without reservation or conditionals. We have stood and watched "elected" officials, our "representatives", vote themselves "bread and circuses" and either totally ignore our constitutional protections or bend and mold them to suit their agenda. We have watched while they allowed a significant percentage of our population to subsist entirely on the public dole, without owning property or paying taxes, they are still allowed to reproduce unimpeded and to have an equal vote in the democratic process; more "Bread and Circuses". Soon, they will out-number us, if not already. Political correctness mandates and penalties for Racism have prevented anyone from speaking the truth.
    The simple fact is, that the Corporate government does not need the taxes on our "Income" to operate. In fact, without those taxes, the money would remain in distribution earning many times more revenue on purchases. The taxes on income are nothing more than a means of keeping the working population under the giant thumb of the Federals. A VAT (Value Added Tax) is the means of revenue through-out most the rest of the world. This is a one-time tax paid on purchases. Sales taxes generate revenue each and every time a dollar is spent, yet they want to limit the amounts we are allowed to keep and spend. Hidden taxes are already paid on most purchases, as well. A gallon of gasoline is mostly tax, so is a package of smokes or a bottle of liqueur. Tires and batteries have "road-use" taxes already applied in addition to the sales taxes. The more the general population spends of their earnings, the greater the revenue paid to the corporate giant, yet they just don't want to release that means of tracking and subjugating those of us that work for a living.

    Mr. Seacowboys, it sounds like you and I have a lot in common as to our beliefs. I agree that the taxing of income is nothing but a means of subjugating the working, productive portion of society. Further, it is an indoctrination (read: brain-wash) that we are taught to believe this is both necessary and for the general good, when it actually is nothing more than a means of creating and maintaining a defacto national data-base.

    The frog pot is pretty much at a boil, but unfortunately, the frogs seem to be enjoying the heat.

    With apologies to Mr. Mencken, there are days when I want to hoist the black flag and start cutting throats. But with the lack of unity, knowledge, courage and a mostly apathetic and brainwashed citizenry, it would be a wasted gesture.

    There may be another Lexington in our future, but prepare to be vilified, outnumbered, outgunned and practically alone.

    I think Frank might be onto something with the concept of an "Underground" Republic. We could unite enough to make it go viral and have no agenda other than declaring ourselves citizens of the Constitutional Republic of the United States. We can declare a state of emergency and elect our own abridged government subject to the original Constitution, unadulterated, unamended, undiluted...unpaid. We can declare that we are under the rule of a hostile corporate domain with duress and petition our rulers to be heard in court. I would love to hear imminent domain offer a defense against a simple charge of Constitutional usurpation; especially given that our agenda is not to form a political party, a lobby, an insurrection, or an over-throw of the present government but just to demand they apply a Constitutional litmus test to all existing laws.

    No thanks. I do not admire nationalism, never did. The pledge is not truly American, anyway. Do I support sovereign states? Absolutely. Would I support these sovereign states working together for common defense? Absolutely. Should these states form an incorporated union and create a federal government? No f*c*ing way. I do NOT support socialism, communism, fascism or patriotism. I will support SOVEREIGNTY, both individual and state. It's either liberty or slavery (the only absolute I adhere to).



    If we do not actively support the current "government", if we do not vote for PUBLIC POLICY and further enslavement, then we already ARE the resistance.
