I kinda like my LC9. Very small but uses full power 9mm with quite a variety of bullet weights and configurations. Considered the LCP, but would have had to support another caliber. jus sayin'

You did the right thing turning down an LCP. The only thing it has going for it is size.

I have one and it's size is nice.

Small enough to carry where carry isn't encouraged. Small enough to pocket. Not a huge fan of .380 but I suppose having a small arm beats having no arm.

Ditto that. Yeah I'm not big on .380 either but it fits in my front pants pocket and with the right pocket holster has little print thru or it looks like a cell phone. A wimpy pistol is far better than no pistol and there are places like church that a bigger rig doesn't work well.

@tacmotusn, I too like the LC9 with low flash Buffalo Bore JHPs. In the mag well is the 7 round original mag without finger extension for low profile pocket carry. I especially like Ruger's new 9 round mags for 3 or 4 spare mags in the 5.11 brand TacLite Pro tactical pants front and back pockets. (From Nutnfancy's review: "First you will note that its pocket system is superior to just about every other pant you've worn. First up: a deep, narrow, dedicated KNIFE pocket. Outstanding. Then you'll find a compartmentalized and flapped cell phone (or pistol mag) pocket on the left thigh."

My biggest complaint with the 5.11 pants is they are really baggy in the crotch (and no, I don't wear them 'in da hood' style ; -)
