Custom 8 inch barrel clone of the HK 32 prototype (7.62 x 39) that HK never produced as a line item. Uses most AK 47 magazines and the pictured Pro Mag 73 rd drum. It's going to be my car gun, and since legally it's a pistol, I can carry it loaded in a soft sided violin case. Sweet shooter.. cheep, hard hitting ammo (The carry ammo is the new Red Army '67 bullet load, reloadable boxer brass, with tumbling bullet design. Carry mags will normally be 20 and 30 rd Tapcos, but the drum is fun. The stock does fold as you can see, and is very sturdy
Well for a Commie Caliber Weapon it don't look too crappy. I guess I would shoot one if given a chance. .... lol
I hope you're right with the "legally it's a pistol" bit. Most weapons with stocks tend to be classified as rifles...especially select fire (or so it appears). Either way, nice looking weapon.
Ah but, that isn't a stock, but a wrist support. You would be using it improperly to use it as a stock. tic
Actually ATF has released a ruling that it can be shouldered and will still be legal. Lots of guys are doing this with AR15 and AK Draco type pistols
No select fire in WA State. That's a Fleming aluminum lower and the rock n roll position is just for show. It's semi auto only
does the 7.62x39 still have that stupid fluted chamber like the 7.62x51 NATO big brother? If it does, you can say buhbye to that reloadable brass.
Not true my friend. I've reloaded 7.62 NATO brass from G3 designs for 25 years. it might mean 5 or 6 reloadings instead of 8 or 10, but that's all The purpose of the ingenious fluted chamber is to make the weapon more reliable under severe conditions (sand, grit, etc)
Well I guess the one from the one I shot could be reloaded but boy did those look beat to hell after being fired once. OD with what looked to be expansion into the fluted area, extractor groove gouge, dent in the case OD. Granted it was a CETME if that makes a difference. And I thought my Model 8 was rough on cases.
Dent is prevented by a easily installed bumper, it snaps on and stays put, it is an HK design. Fluts are no problem and can be reloaded. Been doing it since sometime in the 80s.
It's the barrel and the bolt gap. In particular, Lots of Century guns used nearly trashed barrels and or were not properly headspaced. Ditto to the brass port buffer install
