Thank you. I'll pass it along to "the Boss".

Got myself in a wee bit o' trouble for not mentioning to him the last one you posted. :)

Holy Cow, $60, that's outrageous, it's probably only worth $50...

That would depend on the "As Is" condition of the Genset.... If it was a Runner and made power, $60US is dirt cheep.... If it is FrozeUp and has had the Magic Smoke let out, then $60US is a reasonable price, as the Parts are worth more than that on the Used Onan Parts Market, for someone who is looking for specific parts, from that Model....

I still have a lot of hair, keeps getting in my eyes, and I'm just a couple of years younger than BT. Perhaps you would have more hair if you didn't keep getting bald all night...

Only thing I don't like about gas generators is how noisy they are. If we ever got one, any suggestions on how to deal with that?

There are any number of sound suppressing enclosures to be bought or made. The main thing is a complete covering (except for cooling and combustion air flow.) Exhaust noise requires a muffler of at least hospital grade which may or may not be available for your specific gennie. A bit of noise isn't necessarily bad either; gives you instant notification that the gennie has quit.
