    The Spam Manwich...
1 can of Hunts Manwich Sauce
    1 can of Spam
    1 package of Hamburger Buns

Crumble the spam into a fry pan and brown slightly, add Manwich Sauce, heat and serve on Hamburger buns.

You can add a slice of Jack or Sharp Cheddar Cheese if you wish...

Open the can and eat it:p.

Breaded spam (had this lots growing up):
slice spam in about 1/4" thickness
    dip in egg batter,
dip in crushed saltines/bread/oatmeal/breading of choice
put in heated pan with a little oil and fry 'em up.

Serve with side of your choice (I like a fried egg).

As far as opening it up an eating it, that's pretty much what I did when I when down to New Orleans to help a buddies brother out after Katrina.

Dice and fry with diced onion, a clove of garlic and two diced medium potatoes. It ain't corned beef, but Spam hash isn't bad!!

I remember, when I was growing up down in da swamps of SW LA, we had Spam a few times. Then, Mom discovered "Treet" which was supposed to be as good as Spam, but was a bit cheaper. Compared to Spam, Treet is downright nasty! Heck, compared to nasty, Treet is downright nasty!! But, since it was a few cents cheaper, it became the canned meat of preference.

It has taken me almost 6 decades to get my courage up to try Spam again. Incredible! Sooooo much better than Treet and tons better than I remember. Course, it still has about a ton of salt per serving, so go light. :)

I bought a can of low sodium and teriyaki today. Time to experiment. Maybe I will make @Witch Doctor 01's recipe with the teriyaki.

We introduced a friend to Spam on a camp. He's a Spamaholic now. I just fry the "expletive deleted" out of it.

OK. Be honest. BBQ Spam. I couldn't even do an Andrew Zimmern and get 2 bites down.

My favorite Spam recipe. First trap a full grown wild Spam. After you have skinned that sucker prepare a somewhat smokey fire of mesquite, or pecan wood for you of gentile taste. Some prefer just the backstrap but I spit the whole critter hair, guts, and all. Roast until about medium rare. If the spam seems a little gamey a glaze of Tabasco will take care of that. A meal fitting a successful hunt I tell you!! And don't throw out the hide either. They make great storage containers for small items.
