I've said this many times. If the gangs declared war, it would be a nightmare. Now the Crips and the Bloods (bitter enemies) have joined against the police. Man, this is going to get worse.

 

As soon as they have looted everything worth taking it will quiet down. A few personal scores will get settled during the confusion. Funny how protest by stealing never seems to make the point...

 

As sick and dark and jaded as that is, I hope it's right. If the decision is made to just keep going and it spreads for no other reason than to spread, it could get ugly. State of Emergency already declared in Baltimore...we don't need any others please.

 

I agree, something like this could really damage our way of life, it could really create chaos. I am glad those two gangs have never made inroads into my area. The local gangs have always opposed outsiders making their way in here. Not that the bloods and crips do not have a presence but it is small comparatively.

 

Get rid of rubber bullets and tear gas...start using real rounds...the crap will eventually stop.

 

My goal this summer is to prep the cabin. Slim pickens for outa control punks where we are there.

The only lasting solution here MUST be peaceful and not "peace by force".
@madmax is totally right...if they switch to live ammo and start mowing down crowds.....this will spread like wildfire to every 'merican city with a large black/hispanic population.

 

I think the picture in the first post says it all. Angry young men with burning hatred. One carrying a pipe that could be used as a weapon and the other throwing something. These guys have nothing to lose, they have no respect. They want justice even though they really don't care who they hurt, what they destroy while trying to achieve whatever they think justice is.

I am not saying who is right or who is to blame but all I know is something bad happened and the way these people are lashing out in their anger will only make the divide and dislike in this country grow. We have had one bad situation after another, each situation is police and the blacks, then the hatred for the white people surfaces. I just don't know what the solution is or how the black community will ever be satisfied. Please note when I say black community I mean these protestors and the idiots that listen to Sharpton & Co.

 

Protest - sure, it is a way to bring problems to a public venue.

OK...I wish you luck with that. The only thing they understand IS force, and by letting them run free for decades they think they have free reign over their turf. It's time (pat time, really) to end this crap, and not just for a day.

You will not see Hispanics acting like that where I live. When the illegals were protesting a couple of years ago around the country the best the protesters could get here was a couple of dozen at most. We do not burn down our own areas. Please do not group us with those idiots in Baltimore or Missouri, we are not like that.

 

I agree with @vonslob. The Denver PD killed a Hispanic while in custody, there was protests and much out cry but no looting, no burning etc. They were respectful but very determined. I think in much respects Hispanics are viewed like the white folks. The .gov only takes notice and sends representatives to black funerals.

 

I agree there is a difference between the black and hispanic communities states side.
1 is heavily armed, the other isn't but both vote democrat.

Depends how much money you have and who your lawyer is.
You'd prolly walk or get probation if you can afford it.

Even throwing them all in jail isn't going to solve it - their colors are even more powerful on the inside. Your situation is FUBAR and more violence will not solve it or cast your also out of control LEOs in a better light.

 

I don't know @Mindgrinder what would be said and what would happen if all white folks were burning and looting. The press and officials basically make excuses for this behavior. Because there was slavery. Because they are more coloreds in jail, because blacks are poorly educated.... on and on. There are lots of poor, lowly educated blacks and the same with whites. But you don't see white trash destroying cities, maybe they are too lazy.

The police are finally using tear gas, just heard on fox news. Looks of mad dogs running around Baltimore tonight. I don't know a "Hispanic" that does not have at least one gun, so local business would be well protected from rioters if it was to ever happen here.
