Maybe it should read, "The animals will grow dependent on the handouts, will become increasingly persistent seeking more handouts, will start to just take things not intended to be handed out, will occasionally cause damage and destruction in pursuit of more, sometimes become a danger to people in the area and they will never learn to take care of themselves."
