It looks like it would be a suitable video for the Les Stroud Survivorman contest, to me. Cool video. Definitely a very nice job for the warm climate he's in (Florida?) and he can use those skills to fashion all kinds of useful tools and items no matter where he finds himself. It's a bit detailed for my own taste, but he did very nice work. Of course, up north it's even easier as far as shelter goes. Just build a sturdy lean-to, a surface for a bed, a long fire and wind break -or find a suitable uninhabited cave. Done.
I am willing to bet.... That he wore "Gloves" for part of the build.... so the hands were not "Bare" for the whole build......
Awesome, but obviously not an expedient overnight shelter. I do like paper bark. Great stuff for both shelter and fire.
