Anyone else using tap talk? I have not been able to get it to work today on this forum only. Not sure if it's something I'm doing but other forums work ok just this one. Just wondering if anyone else was having problems. Sorry if this isn't in the right spot having a hard time navigating the full site on the phone.
Did you get it working? If not: Are you getting an error message? Have you rebooted the problem device? Are you sure you're using the correct username/password? Obviously you can log in on another device - log out and try to log back in.
I use tapatalk on my iPhone and iPad and have not been able to get on the survivalmonkey forum with it since yesterday afternoon. iOS browser and computer work fine. Bu no go on tapatalk, which I prefer, since I take my pictures with my iPhone and it is easy to post them. Please advise. Here are some of the error messages. And it is the same on multiple iOS devices. Was working fine, then just stopped working.
I recently deleted tepidtalk from my phone. I had forgotten I had it there and it must have had an "up grade" I wasn't aware of because I started getting messages stating "so-and so liked your post ! Click here to re-join the conversation !" All I thought was; are people really that vapid, that vain, that insecure, that they have to know the exact moment when someone notices their mostly meaningless musings ? Then I remembered "Facebook" and the decision to withdraw. Just my own meaningless musing and not directed at anyone.
Those are the same error messages getting. So at least I know it's not something I am doing wrong. Same here tried rebooting etc and no help. So not sure what's going on with it And notsosneaky I really don't care about the alerts it's just easier to navigate on my phone which is all I have oh woe is me it's all I have. Now see what you've done notsosneaky you've made underdog cry
@Underdog29 Not directed at you in any way shape or form. Its raining and I'm on "vacation" so we're housebound today. (read: grumpy) I've deleted tepidtalk and I'm starting to leave the phone at home. I've got business band radio in the company vehicle, 2-meter and CB/SSB in the truck and that's good enough. I have yet to get a call from any telemarketer on any of the above. Life is better when the interwebz is in snippets.
Here is a prime example of my ineptitude on this site this I think is the quote I ment to be in the last post I know what you mean on the no telemarketers. Wasn't offended in any way just funnin. House bound to but for a different reason. Hope the weather clears up for you vacation that's miserable when it rains. Need to get the icom 706 mounted in my truck miss having a radio in my vehicle.
Many of us, have received notices, that someone has "liked" something we said. I have never even had Tapatalk! It is a scam to get you to use it.
Lol tapatalk is a great program for posting via mobi device. I too cannot connect thru it either. Keep getting network configuration errors. The site isn't reading or connecting to tapatalk. You can always turn Notices off on the site. It's what most people do. Is there an estimated time or plan to fix this? Or have site owners decided to go with another mobi program?
That is ONE reason, Melbo did NOT make a TapTalk Configuration, when we upGraded the Site Software to Xenforo.... It had been the cause of a few issues, even back then, and it was felt that maybe we needed to move on....
Google 2203 will require a forum change from Melbo from the looks of it. Some have solved it by reinstalling taptalk but most had to go to their individual forum mods for resolution. @melbo
If you paid for this program you can post here: Community Chat and Support | Tapatalk - Community Chat & Support Their support appears willing to create an account with SM to troubleshoot the ap and probably suggest the fix to melbo, sec and the admin team.
TT was removed from SM. They read (mined) our user list and began sending emails to non-tapatalk users soliciting them to purchase the app. We are extremely careful with our emailing of members and this was a very dissapointing event. SM is responsive and should render well on phones and tablets without TT. Apologies for the inconvenience to TT users but member privacy comes first.
^^^^^ That was one of the best posts of the year IMO. It is why I am a member of Survival Monkey. The owner (@melbo) and tech support (@sec_monkey) truly care about the members personal privacy and safety. Point proven- SM does protect its members.
Well there is a solution to this where we could still use tapatalk without being emailed. But it does take some code writing and melbo says he can be persuaded if enough people want it.
