Couple of teens have drones and fly them over a friends house regularly , and when they see them in the yard they hover over and taunt him and his dogs. While shooting them is out of the question as he lives in the city limits of a town, It would be nice if company would come up with and market a jamming system to drop them out of the sky. Or better yet take control of them..lol
Id love to hear about those kids losing a 1k drone and not know what happened....lol

I'd start by photo documenting the antagonistic behavior. A net gun might work to safely pull it out of the sky, too bad it got accidentally damaged beyond repair... Depending on the situation you could also string some wire or mono-filament it could get caught up in.

There are a lot of articles on how to build a drone jammer - I'm not sure if any of them actually work in real conditions.

How about one of those arrows for bird hunting that has a cup with multiple darts in it? Forgot the name of it, but has potential, maybe.

Judo tip....works fantastic for birds....drones, ect. Just don't shoot them at a tree..... you have to dig the buggers out as they penetrate very well. ;)

Also illegal to use in city. A bow is classified as a "firearm" here, and the penalties are the same.
Those tips have several names, judo. Squirrel, shockers. (Made for birds and small game)
However, a garden hose with a sidewalk sweeper nozzle can go about 30' straight up, and requires almost no notice to operate (unlike a kite);)

I like the High Pressure Water Hose idea, myself, or a slingshot, (Wrist Rocket) using Glass Marbles, as projectiles..... Also if you can document the Altiutde of the Craft, as being above 400' AGL, or that the Operator is NOT within "Line of Sight" of the Drone, you can turn the Operator/Owner in, for FAA Reg Violations, which will cost them more than the Drone costs, in Fines.....

Problem with any projectile in city limits....they come back down somewhere. Slingshot is legal here, but got to watch for where it will land.

Maybe the drone needs to be washed.

Some ham radio guys use a wrist rocket style sling shot with an attached fishing reel or home brew air gun to launch a small weight pulling a fishing line up over a tree limb as the first step in rigging a temporary antenna system between trees. Seems the same might work here to lay a line over the drone fouling the props yet having the line anchored keeps objects, arrows, etc. from raining onto other neighbors (got the impression from OP, maybe incorrectly, this is a neighborhood with close neighbors). And while in some jurisdictions the illegality of the drone pilot's actions may be quite uncertain, put a rock, pellet, arrow or something else through a neighbor's window, or worse, into a neighbor, and there would be little question who would held accountable for that.

    Pneumatic Antenna Launchers
Actually, just the tennis ball launcher without the string may work if you nail the drone and if the ball comes down elsewhere and hits someone, won't likely injure them.

    Happy Hunting.
