There is a ton of prophecy and a flurry of conflicting dates/predictions on the web.. This sorta thing sets off 'flags' for me and catches my interest... One of my best friends just lost near 15 grand on his stocks in the last two weeks. He is debating pulling out. H e says the investment company is telling him to ride it out and it will recover. He is real nervous as that money is part of his life savings. We finished preps for the coming winter early this year. Sold puppies and put that money right into the pantry. I cut wood yesterday and am cutting again in a few minutes. I want all our wood in by the 15th. I put away more gas bringing my total gallons on hand to 80. I am getting some smaller propane tanks filled as well. My wife and I both have uneasy feeling right now about our world around us. Its too quiet. It feels like the calm before the storm.

Since a rainbow is sunlight refracted by moisture, it location is directly linked to the direction of it's observation point, and the direction of the sun. So in theory, I could put a rainbow over nearly any point, by moving the observation point. (Completely useless for being a sign of anything, really)
My grand dad said that the only thing that counts in the stock market is "one day before" and if you sell one day before it falls, or buy one day before it rises, you will always make money. In his life experience, he said, he always knew one day after instead and always lost money and got out of the stock market in 1929. Said he paid real good money for the lesson and that he hoped I would learn from his mistakes. It would make life so much simpler if we knew what tomorrow would bring. But do we really want to know about things we can not change?
We got out of money in banks a few years ago. I bought silver and am buying silver now. Price is down. If the dollar crashes that silver will go up A LOT. So I am banking on the dollar going south. Nothing like making money on the Woes of others eh? Sounds evil when you look at it that way.
