    I just made up a Beginner's Kit for one of the grandkids. A set of picks, a booklet on basic lockpicking, a transparent practice lock, and a couple of groady old locks I never had keys for.

    He's ten, and a major little lock-freak, just like I was at about the same age.

    I don't know if I'll be in time, but I also bought him an old safe. One of those hundred-pound steel babies from the sixties. Only problem is, I have to crack it. No combo.

    Or maybe I could just leave the cracking to him...
