Wifee was at the farmers market today. We go once or twice a week. Anyway, one of our favorite vendors is Hawaiian Fresh Farms. So she brought home a freshly made biscuit with sausage gravy for me. I shared it with the little monkey. She had to stay home and do homework, which she didn't finish.

Since the weather cleared, I had planned to take a bike ride before I run out to work later tonight. Yes, work involves delicious steak and other goodies, but I digress. When I told wifee I was going to take a ride, she immediately said, "I like go too." So I packed up our little bit of gear and we went.

The Tarahumara pack is a great little pack. It is awesome for a riding pack and for day hikes. I like that it is super comfortable. And the compression straps let you adjust it just so. And helps to retain things like water bottles in the side sleeve pockets.

I wasn't planning on riding far. We only went a shade over ten miles. But we went up and down hills. On the downhills, wifee smoked me on her road bike. Anyway, stuffed in there are our two water bottles, two rain jackets (been coming down lately), two Halo Belts for in case of rain to aid visibility, a shemagh (sweat rag), and bike tools. On I hike, I pack it differently. And there is a cord on the bottom that I strap a tarp on with. It also has a sleeve that will hold my 3L bladder.

Anyway, here is their website: Hill People Gear | Real use gear for backcountry travelers

I am only a satisfied customer.

They are known for their yoke style harness. I really like it. Most times when I ride, if I take a pack, it will be either the Tarahumara or the Frost River Mesabi Range Bag.

On the ride, I wore these arm sleeves that the wifee likes. So she bought me an XL pair. They are snug. Wasn't sure how much I liked them before we started. Felt hot and they were snug. You are supposed be able to pour water on them for cooling. Most of the ride, they felt fine. And when we were done, it felt so hot, I couldn't wait to shuck them.

After the ride, I made a post ride snack. Tuna melt and lilikoi sparkling water. The lilikoi water was soooooo refreshing!

All good, @Mindgrinder. I am not that sensitive.

Even dog puke is better with green onions...
