Several weeks back, a new member posted images of the tree house that he was building on his rural block. The thing that struck me was it's high visibility. Here is an idea....Now, I know that the image may be photo shopped, and there may be problems with deciduous trees....and accounting for snowfall.... however....it's an interesting concept. Via: Invisible Tree House Buzznet There are 24 other tree houses featured at the above site. Some are more like tree mansions than tree houses.
I remembered seeing that one guy tried the invisible tree house on Doomsday Preppers. Invisible Tree House - Doomsday Preppers Gallery - National Geographic Channel I'm sure there can be modifications to it in order to get better.
The eyes are attracted to the corners and yes, the illusion of being part of the trees is excellent. From a distance it would be perfect, I'm not sure at what distance the corners would give it away.
Kellory Some of the posts at the link are funny. Better for does than bucks, 7 years bad luck if you break it.
Yes, I read it through before posting it. I have several blinds of different types, and have considered one of these. (If they were cheaper, I'd have one now) as I have said several times, stealth matters more than the weapon used.
Agreed, stealth is more important than a lot of other things. I feed the deer and their hearing is quite amazing. 65-75' and they hear the telephoto. Here at the house, we enjoy watching them.
