I have 4 identical ARs I want to put 4 identical holographic sights on. Prefer AA batteries. Need to keep them in the +-$150 range. Any suggestions?

It's going to be tough in that price cap.
I can only recommend a used Comp M2 Aimpoint from Ebay or elsewhere, or the Vortex Optics StrikeFire 2.
Both co-witness and work great with the AR platform. If you go strictly with a holographic (which I cannot recommend) you will have more options available. The vortex uses a CR2 type battery, and the older Comp Aimpoint sights use a 3v 2L76 battery, but I imagine if you look around you can find newer models which use AA batteries.

Not sure such a creature exists at that price point. Are you willing to consider red dots as well?

Yes and $200 if that can get me closer.

Some sage advice by @Brokor above. Make sure you try a red dot before you buy. I was dead set on a red dot, but found that to my eyes they were just a red blur. Too much astigmatism in my eyes for them or holos to work well.

Here is a review of the Strikefire that makes some comparisons toAimpoint:

Bushnell also makes some very inexpensive red dots that get good reviews:

No ownership experience with any of them - I wound up with prismatic scopes that give me the red dot without the blur - expect to pay 300 - 400 bux for them, though some of the year end sales had them at $200.

My gun has a eotech 512, these new ARs are for the boys in the band who arrive unprepared. I am very pleased with it with limited use so far, but they are 1/2 the price of each of the new guns. I might just have to buy each of the new ones one at a time. Any thoughts or experience with the 512 before I buy more?

I don't recommend Eotech, and have experience handling hundreds of them over the years. But, if it works for you, all the merrier.

Nothing to add on the Eotech, except that they can suffer in mud, snow, rain due to the exposed sighting screen, also if the operator has astigmatism they are useless. Like @Kingfish I've become sold on prismatics. OTOH standardization is always good for ease of training and maintenance.

These rifles already have iron sights for when electronic sights break or batteries run down?.

What I love about the Burris AR-332 is that when the battery is dead or the unit turned off the reticle is black so the unit still functions. I run mine in black most of the time to save battery life. Only using the lit red or green when absolutely needed.

Another good low cost option from Vortex. Both Burris and Vortex come in 1X and 3X power based on your preference:Vortex Optics - Spitfire Prism Scopes

These may even be the same as Burris internally with the exception of the reticle:

If my own experience doesn't amount to much, here's a great example of why I recommend Aimpoint:
