Aloha Monkeys, Saw this on another forum and thought it would also be helpful here... Japan has had it's share of disasters over the years and there are some good suggestions here. Disaster Preparedness Tokyo - Tokyo Metropolitan Government Hope this helps someone or at least gets some thoughts going. Have a great week all! Take Care and God Bless, Craig
Sometimes think that there are some places that God is trying to tell you to avoid. Japan always comes in there right up with Detroit and Pompi in Italy. Think of or talk about war, tidal waves, atomic bombs, reactor meltdowns, waste disasters, terrorists, volcano, earthquakes, airplane crashes, disease, fires, military occupation, knife attacks, gun control, air quality, repression of individual rights, and a host of other disasters and you usually use Japan as the case study. I think that if I lived in Tokyo, I would sleep with that preparedness book. The track record isn't to good. Parts of the US do almost as bad.
Must be we wander off to the same sites. I downloaded this last week, glad you posted. Definite keeper. Japan knows disaster.
