I do like this one. Stainless Steel Bottle Cooking Kit I have been trying to decide- Kelly Kettle vs. Biolite now that I see this one, I like it.

 

Just be aware that the Kelly as sold, is explosion resistant.

Lol! Yes, I am looking for used. I can not afford $150 for new ones, so looking to buy or trade for used.

BTW, I have the KK Scout and love it, but I am trying to cut down on my issued gear and get more practicle and less bulk

 

I carry a Klean Canteen, and have used a lot of the Pathfinder gear. I like it for what it is. I've never been anywhere that the fancy "smaller fuel" stove type attachments mattered any, but that might just be me. Picked up some stainless cups with lids for a Rendezvous, and started carrying them in the shop I liked them so much. Everybody has there own system.

 

@Pathfinder, if you want low cost, just use a nalgene with a metal nesting cup, rig up a lid. And use a can for a hobo stove. Will get the same job done. You won't have a name factor associated to it, but it will work fine. You could get it to all nest together too.

Or a GI kit. Add a lid. That works too. Even cheaper.

I went lightweight and expensive with the Heavy Cover titanium kit paired with a titanium Emberlit stove. As @Brokor alluded to, your stove will determine your heating speed. The Emberlit works for me. It has the chimney effect too. I like that it folds down to nothing.

 

Trying to get away from my issue stuff... Money is not that big of a factor. I already have 2 USGI canteens, cups and covers with one GI cooker and mess kit. Looking for the widemouth, single unit... Alittle lighter, yet more rugged & a lot more versatile and adaptable.

I also have a Nalgene with a nesting cup, but the handles suck. I carry an aluminum bottle that I set in the coals aswell... Just wanting to "streamline and condense my gear"
