What the? Not another Texan. Sheesh. Don't tell nobody, but I heard it from a friend of a friend of a friend that they are crazy, Like the rest of us. Welcome and may you share some of what you know, learn some that you didn't know and enjoy the company because everyone knows there is no better company than being around a bunch of monkeys.
Ghost, you know us Southern guys and gals like you Texas ones. After all, if yall hadn't fought so hard, we'd be the illegals. It's like five alarm chilli, gotta keep ya on your toes.
I'm a Native Californian with family roots in Texas and Arkansas and would never consider myself a Southerner, that is just blasphemy, shame on you. Ones' latitude doesn't qualify for being a Southerner
Southern is to a degree able to be from anywhere, however I am southern born and raised. It is what is my core. Those from Texas are southern just like any from AL, MS, GA, LA and a few more good states. It is not my latitude that makes me who I am, it is my birthright. I know there are country people in CA and everywhere else, though I have to say that being Southern is a way of life that is very unique. Then again that's just my thoughts.
Haha. Colt, yes I guess you could say I am a 'displaced redneck'. If you want to use the term I was born into, it would be a 'CoonA**'. I just live out here in CA for a while, my heart belongs to the south. I like this state for a few reasons, scenery being the main one, though the politics and laws here make for some interesting headaches. Haha. And yes, Welcome again Weasel. Didn't mean to hijerk the thread. Haha.
pssssst...TMH? Anyone who's from the South always, ALWAYS ,has their heart there...It just is what it is...
Welcome! A word of advice, if you see a little pink dog with a hypo in it's mouth around here.....it's real! And I thought I was getting the DT's and would have to stop drinking.
