Cosmo Explains Why a Modern Woman Should Never Date a 'Good Guy With a Gun'

I ran across this gem on Facebook. It's illuminating. Pure brilliance. What say you fine folks?

You just can't fix stupid.

 

They've drunk the Liberal Lemonade for so long they're all pissing yellow.

So these women deserve to be protected? By who and with what?

Frankly, I'd rather protect or help protect a woman with enough brains to protect herself and the guts to match. The rest are genetic liabilities and I'd not waste my time siring or raising their sub-standard offspring.

"Mansplainer"? Hadn't run across that one before. Sounds guyaphobic to me. I thought Cosmo was all about thirty ways to have super sex without having to admit you don't know how to?

When my wife and I were first getting serious, I mentioned that I owned. "Oooohhh, I HATE guns" was her reaction. A Saturday afternoon with some like minded individuals softened her tone a bit. Then one day a great deal came around on Makarovs. So I bought one, let her try it and I never got it back. Had to buy another one for myself. That was over 20 years ago. Now she wants a S&W Model 60.

 

As far as @Son0fLib3rty 's link, I could care less what libtards think. They can borrow my Sharpie permanent marker to write victim on their forehead.
My wife said everyone in her family owned guns. Then when you said you owned guns I didn't know you meant guns. Today, she seems to lean more towards ARs rather than AKs, FALs, etc.

 

Well, to quote that world famous philosopher "Stupid is as stupid does"... Maybe when the next San Bernardino terrorists are in New York and not California and they are using them for target practice maybe, just maybe, they will stop and think, "Geez, I wish someone would shoot this whacko in the head before he shoots me...Oh no! I kick Clyde and .357 to the curb last week!"

I just don't get it. Where do these people come from? Are they reading the same news as us? Are they even on the same planet as us? Because, I never leave home without a gun... Rick

But, UncleM, how the hell do they explain it when they when a loving daughter gets raped or a grandmother/father gets robbed? What do they want and expect there loved ones to do? Just deal with it? Seriously, I can't grasp what logic they are following. I have always tried to understand someone so that we can meet common ground, right? But this? I am suppose to let some whacko Islamic zealot or some hyped up junkie kill me without putting up any defense of my own because it fits some petal picking liberal agenda? They want me to die? Because I will and those around me will. And, outlawing guns will not stop them from getting them because they have been trying to stop drugs for years and there is as much now as there ever was...it will increase the price of them but they will be over the Mexican border before you can say "Have a nice day."

A gun is a tool. This tool is used to keep me and mine safe... I am going to have to learn to swallow this type of liberal crap with grace...but it ain't easy, nor tasty. - Rick
PS. I see now that because overseas I was with military or those that roam the world and understand the reality of the planet we live on that I have been tainted...but it still ain't easy.

 

I don't waste my time trying to explain it to them. If you have to explain something as basic as personal responsibility or personal security, they wouldn't understand it anyway.

 

I thought I would pass it along. I'm actually in the process of writing a blog post about the liberal stupidity surrounding firearms.

 

A young Italian man gets married, and his father presents him with an antique but beautiful pistol. He thanks him, but is just not a gun guy. One day he finds an antique watch of exquisite manufacture, something that he could use everyday, and worth quite a bit more than the pistol.

If every woman who read Cosmo followed its advice, there wouldn't be a man in this country who didn't have all of his sexual fantasies come to life. Yet another bunch of hoey from a liberal rag.
