Justice Scalia Found Dead of Natural Causes

Justice Scalia, one of the few staunch defenders of the US Constitution, as been found dead of natural causes. My thoughts and prayers to his family and loved ones.

Unfortunately this means Obama will appoint a liberal justice in is place completely upsetting the balance. This is BAD, folks, really BAD.

 

The only hope is that the Advise and Consent of the Senate, once selected by the states, will prevent anyone from being selected until after the presidential election. The selection of one or the other Bozo's, my apologies to the clowns, is now even more important.

Why-oh-why do these SC Judges have these positions for life? I believe it's in the constitution but...doesn't make sense in this day and age, but having said that, I would be afraid to change it and set the precedent. - Rick

This is huge he wrote the majority opinion on Heller.

Justice Scalia was a throw back who made his opinions based on the Constitution.

hopefully, not another Ginsberg. It would be nice if the next Justice actually believed in the Constitution, but that's probably just wishful thinking...

The clown in chief already has announced he will nominate a new justice.

Justice Scalia is not even with his family for burial arrangements and barry is manoeuvring to take advantage of the death of a Man who is barry's superior on every level by any measurement.

It was very thoughtful of Tony to shuffle off this mortal coil when he did. It will allow plenty of time for his replacement to be sitting on the bench, ready to swear Hillary in.

I take your point.....being a slightly better lawyer than Kinqfish is no great recommendation.

NB being Muslim and an atheist may seem a contradiction.....but I am confident that there are in fact many of them, closeting their lack of belief in a god that they publicly affirm......in some cases and places.....keeping their head attached to their shoulder depends upon it.

 

There are no disbelievers in a society that kills disbelievers. To show a variance is to be culled.
