Here is a little baby that I'm just getting finished. It started as a neck knife. Then my neighbor said that it looked like something that would go in a purse so I made it fancy. Then, I showed it to my brother-in-law and he thought it was a boot knife.

It's made from 3/16" O-1 tool steel, the handle is Maple Burl that I stabilized myself using Minwax wood hardener and a Vacuum setup (turned it from chalk to ROCK) The file work is vine and thorn on the top and thorn bush on the bottom and has black colorized epoxy as the fill. I'm going to make a Kydex sheath for it with a boot/belt/purse clip and thong holes so it could be worn as a neck knife.

I can't seem to get any good pictures of the file work because of glare, I'll take some outside when I get a chance

    Whatdaya think ?

I'll have to first say, nice craftmanship. Good looking knife. Secondly, I'll have to agree with CRC. I think it would be better used as a purse knife. That's my thought.

Got the sheath completed - dual purpose - I put eyelets in it to wear as a neck knife AND a heavy duty clip for your belt or your boot (even a purse [winkthumb] ) Sorry about the quality of the pics

My dad and I made some about 25 years ago out of saw blades - then I started back up almost exactly a year ago after some encouragement from Bear *THANKS Bear* Been down hill ever since [LMAO] [LMAO]

    (Ok, so I'm a Falcon-come-lately....)

Seems to me it would work as a bodice knife best. A little small for a boot knife, but it wouldn't be bad strapped onto the thigh as a little back-up blade, or maybe even the forearm.
