Recently I purchased a piece of equipment. It was delivered. Now the distributor is accusing me of having "lied" about my address due to a problem he has with the Shipping Company. I like email because if this guy was local I would be having an up close and personal discussion with him at his address. Ain't Email Great, email has just saved me from my self.
I like eMail..... because I can send encrypted correspondence, (Private) to anyone I like, without the Letters Boys, able to gain access to it, even from afar, or near by..... In Person Communications is just to easy to lose control over, even in large Crowds.... I keep my Private Business, Private.... and eMails help with that....
They called you up after they delivered and transaction complete to complain to you. That must have been an odd conversation. You had the product delivered to your home, yet you lied about your address? Sounds like management to me...
How could you possibly have supplied them with the wrong shipping address if the proof is in it already arrived?
Has to do with classification of shipping address, so far they have changed their story 6 times, my address or location has never changed.
Has to do with politics, unions, lobbyist, trucking industry and squeezing the little guy out of what ever cash you can get.
I like email for the fact that it is a written record, admissible in court in regard to any dispute. In my line of business, a phone call is not going to work. Either send me an email with direction to proceed or a contract.... Other than that, I won't be providing you our services for projects of any real substance above a simple service call.
My work exactly, put it writing or forget it. Change orders must be signed by an Officer of the Company.
