Maryland Law Would Ban 'Imitation' Firearms, Including BB Guns And Toys There's no grandfather clause, so according to the legislation, anyone who owns a toy or airgun that's defined as an "imitation" would be subject to a $1,000 fine and a year in jail.
Unfortunately...... many lawmakers don't know Jesus. But a good ass kicking.... they understand quite well.
They just keep on trying. Maybe if the good people of Maryland voted them all out of office they'd give it a rest. They probably wouldn't do very much anti-gun politicking if it wasn't being paid for with tax money.
Pretty darn ridiculous. This is obviously intended to stop the next generation from ever having knowledge of firearms. It's preparation for complete control. There's no other reason for it.
Use it to teach the constitution and bill of rights. How this violates those rights, and why you're angry about it. Teach your children what to watch for, and what is being used against them. "There is no man, so poor, that he can not serve as a bad example for others"
A total ban?? Even the moon bat nut job socialists in Europe aren't that ridiculous. They limit the impact energy. Airgun power: unlicensed power limits in Europe
No, the issue is that today's BB Guns and Replicas look to closely like the REAL Guns, Even with the Bright Yellow Muzzle Paint, and the Baltimore Cops are to STUPID, to be able to recognize the difference, and then WIll SHOOT the KID/Adult, and then they get their A$$ Sued Off, and their PayOuts & Insurance Premiums go thru the Roof, and they do NOT have the Money to Pay them, because they are spending, IT ALL, on saving the Poor and Indigent, who haven't been Killed Yet....
That kid had an Airsoft which when the muzzle cover is removed really looks the same as a real firearm. Airsoft takes pride in their authenticity. Their MP5 really looks the same as a real MP5 That being said my RWS Diana springer looks as real as my .22 rifle. Baltimore's government paid out millions to Frankie Gray's family before the trial that would establish negligence was completed. When it comes to stupid, Baltimore has a corner on it. I'm a Marylander and the best thing I did was vote with my feet. I see it simply as another takeaway of our Rights.
Well New Jersey also registers BB guns, air guns, muzzleloaders, rifles, shotguns, handguns, full auto, etc. and considers them to be all the same. If you get caught with an unregistered BB gun you face the same as if you had a machinegun.
Sorry for the double post; however: NRA-ILA | BREAKING NEWS: Federal Court of Appeals to Review Important Gun Rights Decision A court will re-interpret the 2nd Amendment. As I can read what the 2nd says is very clear and doesn't need some appointed judge to tell us what it says.
