It would never have happened when I was a much younger man in the early 70's. The women would simply have just kicked me in the nuts for saying daft nonsense. It's difficult saying offensive stuff whilst rolling around the ground in agony, gasping for air.
It's worse than that. They are trying to get anything that they think might offend someone banned so that every flake on the planet has a safe place. Wuss-wuss to the nth.

The thing is, age has little to do with the condemnation of the snowflakes. They are afraid to talk to anyone with experience for fear of contamination of their pre-conceived ideas. I've run into it locally. Yes, it is stupid crap, but no less real. I don't think it is too widespread yet, but it is growing.
