The claim of 100 mpg has to be substantiated, of course, but it will be interesting to see what kind of vehicle he's using for a test bed and some other performance parameters. Unless these Jokers can change the Laws of Thermal Dynamics, this is preposterous..... Ask yourself, What is the BTU content of a Gallon of Gasoline.... Then what is the Mass of the Vehicle..... then the BTUs required to move that Mass 300 Miles, assuming NO Wind Resistance.... The Math says it is Pure Hocum, and BS....
At what speed and with what load? You're spot on BT. The 126,000 (+or-) btu's can only generate so many HP.
Over coming aerodynamic drag is what takes almost all the power required to move a vehicle down the road.

I wonder if one used a Hybrid Gasoline/Lithium Ion Batts/Electric and moved very SLOW, like maybe 1 MPH, to avoid the Aerodynamic Drag Issue, on Flat Ground, if you could get the that 100MPG to work...
