they can sue the person or entity who stripped them of their right to self defense.

I rip the sign down where ever I can and throw it in the trash.
And I don't know of any place has replaced the signs where I pulled them down.
Obviously I don't do it to state or federal property because those are gun free by law, for now.
Privately owned public places like malls and shopping centers with zero security yeah. The way I figure if they can't stop some one from ripping down their stupid sign then they sure as hell aren't going to stop some maniac and/or terrorist from walking in there.

 

This law shouldn't have to be on the books, if person presents a situation that can hurt me by law businesses need to get a written disclaimer not assumed like a stupids sign. Its why they have you sign wavers when you bungie jump so you don't sue them if something bad happens. How can any place tell you not to defend yourself and then not be liable if you are hurt. Good to see the law, but really it should be that way period. The only problem I do have is it has a smells of how Liberals right laws.

And, it's a start and a good one... And, it will make a lot of liberals think about it because most think they are safe in 'Gun Free' zones so...if they are so safe then why is liability and law suits even considered and on the opposite end of the stick, maybe all those Malls, theaters and stores like COSTCO will say - "Our corporate law firm says we should reconsider banning firearms because one madman incident would cost us millions, perhaps a Billion if the loss of life was like Orlando." One pistol, with one bullet, could have ended that madman in Orlando...
