I would like to start a discussion on common ideologies of Fascism and socialism. I am trying to find a real article that would put an end to comparisons of Hitler to Republican candidates. Healthcare , collectivism etc. Both seem to put the state in control. Communism vs Fascism - Difference and Comparison | Diffen
Hitler was the head of the National Socialist Party (Nationalsozialismus, NAZI for short). That would make him have far more in common with Hillary Clinton (Progressive Socialist) and Bernie Sanders (Socialist) than any of the Republicans that aren't RINO's (not too many of them left).
Fascism and Socialism both REQUIRE Totalitarianism to succeed.... They MUST have complete control over the Masses, to endure, and eventually, they BOTH, run out of Other Peoples Money, to use to sustain themselves.... "The BIG LIE", they BOTH depend on....
Both deny freedom of choice, religion (unless its state sponsored) and they are both a one party system.
About the only major difference I noticed was the NAZI did not care who owned what long as they controlled it.. the communist had to own everything?
IMHO, we are only one trip over another progressive administration from landing in that s^^^ puddle..
There is very little difference between Hitler's Fascism and Stalin's Socialism. Actually, I can't think of anything off the top of my head...they're almost identical. I suppose religion was a bit different as Hitler tolerated it as long as they preached his version of things and didn't make waves, in fact, he courted the churches in the beginning. Lenin (then Stalin) were against from the beginning as seeing them as a threat to the state's power because they could control the people.
Churches have been a tool of the reigning powers for a lot of our history.. At least until about 1900 or so.. Agree with you @Bandit99 ..
my grandma clipped this from a newspaper for me in the 80s Isms: Two Cows and Some Bull Socialism: If you have two cows, you give one to your neighbor. Communism: If you have two cows, you give them to the government, then the government gives you some milk. Facism: If you have two cows, you keep the cows and give the milk to the government. Then the government sells you some milk. Nazism: If you have two cows, the government shoots you and keeps the cows. Capitalism: If you have two cows, you sell one and buy a bull.
