Ruth Ginsburg speaks her truth and reinforces her unfitness for her position: It's a political cliche at this point to joke about moving to another country if a certain presidential candidate doesn't win. Gobs of Americans were headed to Canada if George W. Bush was reelected in 2004. A similar contingent threatened to flood across our northern border when Barack Obama was elected and reelected. Generally, though, you don't hear a Supreme Court justice talking like this. In fact, you generally don't hear a Supreme Court justice talking at all — much less about the big political issues of the day. Most justices aren't Ruth Bader Ginsburg, though. And in a new New York Times interview, Ginsburg doesn't hold a thing back when it comes to the 2016 election. “I can’t imagine what this place would be — I can’t imagine what the country would be — with Donald Trump as our president,” Ginsburg told the Times' Adam Liptak. “For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be — I don’t even want to contemplate that.” Ginsburg also recalled something her late husband said about such matters: "Now it’s time for us to move to New Zealand." This appears to be a joke, but Ginsburg's sentiment here is crystal clear: She thinks Donald Trump would be a dangerous president. And in saying it, she goes to a place justices almost never do — and perhaps never have — for some very good reasons. In bashing Donald Trump, some say Ruth Bader Ginsburg just crossed a very important line
I'll stand with Donald and all these politicos are scared of Donald as he is not like them_thank the great spirit- he is what we need to rebuild the USA
All you need to know about Ginsberg: "I would not look to the U.S. Constitution, if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012," Ginsburg said in an interview on Al Hayat television last Wednesday. Anyone who doesn't believe in the US Constitution should not be allowed to be a Justice, let alone a Supreme Court Justice. If Trump gets elected he will almost certainly get to appoint her successor. It will be a sweet day for me, personally.
This is Ginsburg when she attends an Obama speech..... For Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, falling asleep at the State of the Union address is nothing new. ... But there was a good reason, she added: "I wasn't 100% sober." ...
I wish the old cow WOULD go to New Zealand! By her words, I would assume she is a Hillary supporter. Trump will do okay if he was allowed to get into office but let's face it - they will not let him win. One way or another, they (people like this old cow) will stop him either by assassination or rigging the election. Then, we will see the final stages of the great experiment as it goes into its death throes. EDIT: I realize that having these Supreme Court judges for life gives stability but it is times like these that I wish they would have a mandatory retirement age. That old cow should have went long ago.
Or be retired. Term limits are pretty much up for a whole bunch of people. They just don't know it yet.
