Okay folks, the map indicates destinations we currently have. What we need is people willing to receive supply shipments in advance and store them for us to pick up on our way. This will be things we need to order and cant just purchase locally. And this will allow us to resupply while on the road much easier. Stars indicate states we are going to and how many locations in each state. I will be updating the map often. Please let me know if you are willing to help!

Cut and pasted from my post in introductions!

I am starting a project were we look for candidates who want to live a self sufficient lifestyle and could use a little help. We will be traveling across the US giving assistance to those we can. Building structures, digging wells, installing solar and so on at no cost to the recipient. Our goal here is to share what I have learned in my 56 years of self sufficient and off grid living. Meet some great people and do some good in this world while I am still able. I look forward to being part of the community here and hopefully some will come along for our adventure as we post videos and share our experiences. Look us up on youtube under Too Country!

And please feel free to ask any questions you may have and share suggestions and or ideas.....

I see it as one great adventure. But must admit the challenges are far greater than I anticipated as is the need. That said I also will admit that making this happen has become my obsession.

And I can honestly say the hardest part for me is not the work or the planning. Its having to turn down some genuine request based on cost. I am already looking at spending $200,000 and must limit the size of the jobs to help as many as possible. The largest project so far will be building a tiny house 16' x 20' two story and putting it on total solar. But this is for an elderly gentleman currently living in a tent?

Oh no, lol, I grew up on a farm and my grandfather taught me how. Everybody calls it prepping now but we did it for survival. It was just a way of life. Nothing teaches one better than necessity......

That said people can learn a great deal from youtube. But until you have lived it all you have is ideas...

Nice map. Utterly worthless to decide if 'my city' is anywhere near 'your location'. Maybe a list of locations by state would be of more help.

Best of luck on your journey.

Well I see your point to some degree but we are in a motor home. So really if your anywhere we could reasonably detour to it wouldn't be a problem. Planning our route as we go. And we are adding destinations almost daily. I will have more details as plans come together on our route. But we are keeping destinations sort of quiet so we can be gone by the time anyone really knows we are there. I will do a general route map and post it asap.

There are as many hows and whys as stars in the sky. Myself, its about personal responsibility and freedom. As for hows again, you have many options. Not much I could give you here but that said. I would be willing to come visit while on the road if your in the US. We could pick each others brains for nuggets of wisdom and knowledge. At your age I am sure you have a lot to offer.

I was just thinking about my earlier post and figured it calls for a bit more explanation. We are currently building a homeless man a house. And since we arrived word has gotten out about what we are doing here and we are being bombarded with requests. We have had people find our motor home and wake us in the middle of the night. I have people showing up and asking for money at the work site and ask for everything from a house to cash to all of the above. This is why we are operating under a certain amount of secrecy. That's also why we are trying to keep our work short at each location As to not give time for people to find us.

I never expected it to be this way but it is. So we have to take steps to ensure things go as needed. As for anyone willing to receive things for us. We would ask only what state your in for now. And further details as time moves forward. This way we can control information and make things work.

You seem like a very nice man and what you are doing- building a home for a homeless person is very admirable but there is an issue. Preppers and the people on this site are very Opsec. I have people here whom I have chatter with for years and still do not even know their first name. People are very closed mouth about location and personal information. Now reading the parts of your post that I clipped sounds like you are also. You do not want people to find you and are hoping to move across the country as stealthily as possible. The people on here are kind and giving but I just cannot see people giving out their home addresses to a stranger that is secretly moving across the country.

I certainly understand anyone who are just not comfortable. Thus why we are starting very early and already have a few people agreeing to help us with this. I hate that I find myself being so secretive about destinations. But after being so inundated by the locals here. To the point it has cost us time because of people just showing up everywhere, I feel its absolutely necessary. But we will see how it all works out and hopefully we will get it done.

not surprised this happened to you... it is pretty much a part of human nature... a poorer part perhaps but it's there...

BTW I am not asking for anything but KNOWLEDGE and INFORMATION...

Lol, Funny thing is your probably one of the people we would gladly assist. We are seeking people of like mind seeking to live more self sufficient. Someone who is doing what they can and could just use a little help. Someone willing to take a hand up and not seeking a hand out.

Much like the recipient of the house we are building. A vet, a man who has worked his entire life and just had something bad happen that was beyond his control. A man who wont take the help given and squander it. We cannot control what people do with what we give. But we can screen to make reasonably sure they are at least the caliber of person we are looking for.

Are you aware of the cable show "Homestead Rescue" with Alaska's Marty Rainey and his kids? It's pretty good, they help city folks that have purchased homestead land and are badly failing/starving! I'm sorry but these are some DUMB bunnies! They couldn't even raise bunnies for that matter.

Lol, I have heard of it but have not watched. I don't watch much TV and hate reality shows, most of which are short on the reality.
