Got An Interesting Call from AARP Today

UncleMorgan I like peeling bananas and (occasionally) people.

Some schmuck from the AARP rang me up today and provided a few minutes or enlightening and irritating entertainment.

Right after identifying himself, the yutz pointedly explained that the AARP was not a political action committee.

Then he offered me the opportunity to support Hillary in the next election by calling all my friends and recommending her.

And, if I liked, the AARP would also be happy to bus me and my friends to some of her rallies. And they would provide meals and pay me for my time as well.

    How sweet of them.

This AARP jerkmeister was obviously accustomed to banging on little old people that weren't as sharp as they used to be.

He tried to terrify me with the sure and certain knowledge that I would lose all my Social Security benefits IMMEDIATELY--(Well, almost immediately, but immediately enough that I should immediately panic.)--if I didn't do what the AARP wanted me to do.

    Immediately.

When I told the scumbag I wasn't interested (with some elaborate emphasis) he calmly asked me if it would be ok for someone to call me again in a few weeks. To ask me again.

I guess that meant that in two weeks I wasn't supposed to be able to remember him, what with the Alzheimers, Home Shopping, and Dancing With the Stars, plus the cumulative brain rot of engendered by the MSM and the Kardashians.

Hell--he may be right. But I'll tell ya one thing:

I've known for years that the AARP has no concern for retired persons whatsoever, except to the extent that it keeps the membership money rolling in, and the amount of money that their leverage can be sold for.

Hey @UncleMorgan when they call back take them up on the whole deal (trip to rally free, food, lodging, whatever ..... it is an excellent Trojan horse) once inside the the Hildabeast's Lair, loudly call the Lying Murderous Bitch Out. What can the do, throw you out? You were invited and you went, where is the crime. Sounds like fun to me. I guess I will have to start taking their calls.

    @tacmotusn you subversive thinker ! =)

I don't think Hillary is going to make it physically. I think they knew she was having health issues at the DNC and that is why Bernie wasn't on the ballot. So what happens next?[cow][pop]

Aw come on B, us Irish like to dance on our enemies graves. It is a happy thing to see proof they are in the ground being eaten by worms. As for the liquid or solid fertilizer that is sort of an opinion thing we do to encourage the grass and weeds and ivy to grow with abandon and hopefully make the scourge disappear from the face of the earth forever.

The only ivy that would ever grow on Hillary's grave would be poison ivy--if her own poison didn't leak out and kill it at the roots.

If it wasn't Illegal, I would advocate, Digging up Her Bones, and pounding them into Dust..... Just like what I would advocate for the JackA$$ Civil Engineer/Highway Transportation Guru that decided it was a Good Idea, to neck 6 Lanes of Freeway Traffic, into Downtown Seattle both from the NORTH & SOUTH, down to 2 Lanes, and then build a Convention Center over the Top of it, so it can NEVER be Fixed..... Same kind of short sightedness.....

I had it in my mind to bring that up. Got lost in what I was saying, and failed to do so. Thanks for bringing it up. I still think it would be awesome fun to do. I still applaud the Congressman who shouted LIAR at Odumbmass. Turns out he was very correct! I would go and do this in a New York minute if those dumbmasses called me.

Reminds me of the recent Trump story reported by the corporate media, with Trump pointing out a Hillary supporter in the crowd being the father of the Florida psychopath. Then, they pick out a Senator (I think) from Trump's crowd who resigned due to a pedophile scandal or something, and he's all waving and giving a thumbs up like they are besties. Yeah...like he's really not a Liberal trying to discredit Trump. Maybe he is a real supporter. My bet is he's not.

LOL Yeah, right about the time Obamacare was passed and signed into law, those AARP types started sending me stuff in the mail, hoping to get me signed up. Since I knew they had supported O'care, I decided it was against my best interests to support them!

So every time I got something in the mail from them, I stuffed it all into that nice business reply envelope that came with it (about 1/2" thick, by the time I folded things up to fit in the envelope), and mailed it right back to them! Made sure to take a Sharpie, and write "DO NOT SEND ME THIS CRAP ANY MORE! NO MEANS NO!!", on the part I was supposed to fill out with my payment information.

And it only took them SIX MONTHS of me doing that, before they stopped sending me that crap!

BTW, thanks for the link to AMAC. I'll check it out, and likely pass along the information to friends of mine who are getting long in the tooth, like I seem to be, these days! (y)

AARP? Association of retirees? Hardly. They clearly aim at the 40 to 60 year old sheeply demographic, not the 65 and older sheepdogs. They offer nothing I can't (do and will) get elsewhere. Was a member for a long time, much to my regret (and expense of learning.)
