    Standing Ovation: Trump’s Economic Plan

Yes, Donald J. Trump has an economic plan. Last week, he received standing ovations and 10-second-long applauses from ordinary Americans who heard him explain how his plan will create more jobs than Hillary Clinton’s.

“Donald Trump doesn’t have a plan! He’s all bluster and no muster,” is a common criticism of the GOP presidential nominee. But the entrepreneur proved his critics wrong when he announced his economic plan in Detroit, MI last week.

Hillary, on the other hand, is a gal without a clear economic vision.

“We are going to raise taxes on the middle class!” and “We are going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business,” are a few of Hillary’s economic “plans.” Of course, she quickly tried to retract her comments. But, make no mistake, one of Hillary’s top economic advisors is Joseph Stiglitz, a man on-record for praising the economy of Venezuela.

    Venezuela!?

Yesterday’s New York Times included the headline story: “Hard Times in Venezuela Breed Malaria as Desperate Flock to Mines.” Venezuela’s economy is now so weak than many citizens have been reduced to working in muddy jungle mines—where they have contracted malaria—a disease the country eradicated in 1961. Depressingly, desperate times have reawakened the horrific disease as impoverished Venezuelans resort to working in extremely hazardous conditions.

You know things are bad when even the New York Times admits socialist policies have ravaged Venezuela’s economy. We don’t need a president who receives her economic council from a man who would advise her to make America more akin to a country where citizens line the streets to wait for food.

200,000 new jobs! was Hillary’s promise to upstate New Yorkers when she ran for Senate in 2000. Once safely elected, she delivered results more on par with Venezuela. According to the Washington Post: “…upstate job growth stagnated overall during her tenure, with manufacturing jobs plunging nearly 25 percent, according to jobs data.”

If you’re considering staying at home on November 4; writing-in a third party candidate on your ballot, or—heaven forbid, voting for Hillary—then you’ll benefit from hearing how Trump’s plan will revitalize our economy.

Highlights from Donald J. Trump’s Economic Plan

1.) “Across-the-board income tax reduction, especially for middle income Americans. This will lead to millions of new and really good-paying jobs. The rich will pay their fair share, but no one will pay so much that it destroys jobs or undermines our ability as a nation to compete.”

This is a smart policy for two reasons. First, because the middle class is—for the first time in U.S. history—no longer a majority. President Obama’s socialist agenda has diminished our economy to the point that the average American now makes less than $30,000 annually. Secondly, over the past decade, expatriation (Americans renouncing U.S. citizenship) has risen 15-fold according to Fortune.

Smart, talented and wealthy American entrepreneurs are giving up their citizenship at a historic rate. The United States has the highest corporate income tax rate in the world and is no longer the most competitive place to run a business. Trump’s plan will reverse this trend and allow businesses to stay in America to both create new jobs and raise wages on existing jobs.

2.) Refusal to Pass the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP)

“Trade has big benefits, and I am in favor of trade. But I want trade deals for our country that create more jobs and higher wages for American workers. Isolation is not an option!”

To put TPP in perspective, consider that the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) was 900 pages in length, and no one knew was inside the bill until after President Obama unconstitutionally rushed it through Congress. In contrast, TPP—which the Obama administration has been quietly developing for the past eight years—is 511% longer, at around 5,500 pages.

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has described TPP as a “nascent European Union” that “diminishes the power of the people’s bulwark: their constitutionally-formed Congress” in favor of “global governance.” Yikes.

Under no circumstance should we repeat our Obamacare mistake and “pass TPP so we can find out what is in it,” as Rep. Nancy Pelosi might say. Trump’s opposition to TPP is wise, and a key way in which his policies are superior to those of Hillary.

Recently, Hillary claimed she too opposes TPP. However, CNN unearthed a fascinating list of 45 times Clinton publicly pushed for TPP. Thus, Clinton’s promise to oppose TPP means very little.

We know—thanks to FBI Director James Comey—that Hillary has a track record of lying. She lied about whether she sent or received classified emails via an insecure connection while Secretary of State as well as whether she turned all of her work-related emails over to the State Department—to name only a few of her tall tales that jeopardized U.S. national security.

We simply cannot trust Hillary to keep her promise on TPP.

    3.) No to NAFTA

Trump plans to abandon the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) signed into law by former President Bill Clinton in 1994 if unable to negotiate terms more amenable to the United States.

“…[T]he transfer of jurisdiction to international ‘tribunals’ and kangaroo courts beyond the reach of American voters” has already begun under NAFTA, reports The New American magazine—adding that this phenomenon will “only accelerate” under TPP.

If you’re concerned about the economy and you want to prevent the United States from becoming the next Venezuela, you cannot in good conscience back Hillary Clinton. Donald J. Trump is your best bet on the ballot.

I also love this country...or, at least, what it is supposed to be. However, I can also certainly understand young people today who can no longer make the kind of commitment I made with my life to this government. In the past 50 years, we have gone from a government for the people to a government at the people...it is very hard to continue to be committed to a government that is focused more on avoiding the "limitations" of the constitution than honoring their commitment to protect it.

Got this in an email this AM. It's a piece by Wayne Allen Root. I'm not nearly as enthusiastic as the author is, but I hope he's right.

Another "take" on Donald Trump - and perhaps the author is right!
Now, this will give you something to ponder for a while!!!

Remember when leaders raised an army called the Crusaders, they stopped the Ottomans. Remember Charles the Hammer, his army turned back the Muslins from attacking France. Remember Thomas Jefferson stopped the Muslims from attacking American ships. These are just a few times the enemy has been stopped. Now it looks like maybe we need another strong leader to stop the enemy instead of inviting them in to take over.

A Message For Christians About Donald Trump

    Wayne Allyn Root
    (Wayne Allyn Root is a Libertarian-Republican, a
TVcelebrity, producer, author, CEO, politician, and a born
    again Christian.)

    Jun 24, 2016

I am a Jew turned evangelical Christian. I am also a
    passionate supporter of Donald Trump.

I have a message for Christians who don’t like Donald
    Trump:“YOU’RE MISSING THE BOAT.”

Christians have Trump all wrong. God sends messages in many
forms. You’re just not listening. God is talking, but you’re
    eyes and ears are closed.
Here’s a famous joke about God and how he talks to us.
“A deeply faithful Christian man is stuck on roof of home
with massive flooding up to 2nd floor. Rowboat comes. He
    says
“No, I’m waiting for God. I’ve prayed and I know he’s
coming.” 2ndrowboat. “No, I’m waiting for God.” 3rd
rowboat. “No, I’m waiting for God.” Water rises. The man
drowns. Now he’s meeting God in heaven.
The religious man says “Where were you God? I prayed. I was
faithful. I asked you to save me. Why would you abandon
me?” God says, “Hey dummy, I sent you 3 rowboats. Are you blind?”

Did you ever consider Trump is our rowboat?

Maybe God is trying to tell us something important- that now is not the time for a “nice
Christian guy” or a “gentleman” or a typical Republican
powder puff. Maybe now is the time for a natural born
killer, a ruthless fighter, a warrior.

Because right about now we need a miracle, or America is finished.

Maybe the rules of gentleman don’t apply here. Maybe a
gentleman and “all-around nice Christian” would lead us to slaughter.

Or do you want another Mitt Romney, Bob Dole, John McCain, Gerald Ford or Paul Ryan? Did any of them win? Did they lead the GOP to “the promised land?” Did they change the direction of America? No, because if you don’t win, you have no say.

Paul Ryan couldn’t even deliver his own state, Wisconsin!

And as leader of the House, Paul Ryan rolls over to Obama like my dog rolls over for a scrap of food, or a steak bone. He’s a useful idiot. Nice, but obedient. I mean Paul Ryan…not my dog. My dog is actually a pretty good defender and loyal.

Maybe God is knocking on your door so loud, but you’re not listening. Maybe God understands we need a "war leader” at this moment in time. Maybe God understands if we don’t win this election, America is dead. It’s over. The greatest nation in world history will be gone. Finished. Kaput. Adios.

And with one last breath, maybe what we need to save us at the last second, is someone different. Someone you haven’t ever experienced before- because you weren’t raised in rough and tumble New York where nothing good gets accomplished unless you're combative, aggressive, outrageous, on offense at all times, and maybe just a tad arrogant too.

Someone with a personality you’ve never seen on stage at your church.

Maybe, just maybe, being a nice gentlemanly Christian would not beat Hillary, and her billion dollars, and her best friends in the media who will unleash the dogs of hell upon the GOP nominee.

I guess you think God is only nice and gentlemanly. Really?
Then you’ve missed the whole point of the Bible. When
necessary God is a pretty tough guy. When necessary, God strikes with pain, death and destruction. When necessary, God inflicts vengeance.

Maybe you think God couldn't possibly be associated with
someone like Trump. Trump is too vicious, rude and crude.

When we won WWII, was God "nice?" Were we gentlemanly when defeating Hitler? Were we gentlemanly when firebombing Germany? Were we gentlemanly when dropping atomic bombs on Japan? Is God ever "nice" on the battlefield? Or does he send us vicious SOB’s like General George S. Patton, so the good guys can defeat evil?

It’s pretty clear to me God sends unique people to be “war leaders." That’s a different role than a pastor or church leader. God understands that.

Maybe God purposely sent Trump instead of the nice
Republican powder puffs like Paul Ryan, or Mitt Romney, or John Kasich because he wants us to win.

And maybe it’s time to re-define “nice.” Maybe Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan aren’t nice at all- because they led us to defeat. And losing again would mean the end of America. And God can’t allow that.

Maybe Romney and Ryan mean well, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Or maybe they’re just jealous they had their chance and blew it. Maybe they’d rather help elect Hillary than allow a
Trump victory that would make them look weak, feckless and incompetent.

I was reading the Bible this morning and I found the perfect verse that explains the success of Donald Trump…
"Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint." (Isaiah 40:30-31)

It’s almost like God created this verse for Donald Trump and this moment in history.

Trump is our energy. More energy than any candidate EVER. He took on the 16 best candidates in GOP history...all younger than him...all with better political credentials…and destroyed them with his energy. You mean that kind of energy in a 70-year old isn't inspired by God?

Trump renews our strength. Or does the all-time record
turnout and all-time record votes for a GOP presidential
    primary candidate not define “strength?"

With Trump we mount up with wings like eagles. With Trump as our leader there is nothing we can’t do. Any man that can build skyscrapers in Manhattan and vanquish 16 presidential opponents, while spending almost nothing…can lead us to the heights of eagles.

With Trump we run, we are not weary. Just when we get tired of the fight against Obama, Hillary, big government, big business, big media, big unions...just when it all seems impossible to overcome the powerful forces of evil… along comes Trump to re-energize us.

Trump inspires us. Trump gives us hope. Trump gives us
confidence in victory. Trump gives us just a touch of
arrogance. Maybe God understands that’s exactly what we need right at this late stage to save America.

God is about miracles. We don’t need a “nice guy” or a
“gentleman” right now. It’s the 4th quarter and we’re losing 14-0. We need a miracle.

So let me repeat my message to Christians:“YOU’RE MISSING THE BOAT.”

I believe Trump is our miracle. I believe Trump is our
    rowboat.

Except he’s more like a battleship!

No one is saying Trump is perfect. No one is saying Trump is a perfect conservative. But he is a patriot. He is a warrior. He is a capitalist. He is the right man, at the
    right time.

Yes, he's a bit rude and crude and offensive. But that may
make him the perfect warrior to save America, American
exceptionalism, capitalism and Judeo - Christian values.

The choice should be easy for Christians. It’s Trump…or it’s the end of the America.

I see it this way - the President is the CEO of the Executive Branch. Between the two we have one person who has a successful track record as a CEO. I've worked both inside and outside the government, and we do not need another bureaucrat at the head and sure as hell not someone with Clinton's disastrous track record.

Trump is also for maintaining out sovereignty, and unless we control our borders and territory we will perish as a nation and culture. Contrast that with Clinton's open borders and illegal immigration policy.

I saw what Bill Clinton did to the military when he was in office, so without question Hillary following Barack Obama would be an epic disaster to our ability to defend ourselves. Obama has cut the military HARD (the USN reports that they have 75% of the ships required to fulfill their mission) while opening up the purse strings to every kind of unearned entitlement imaginable. And, yes, I hold the Republican Congress is just as much contempt as Obama. Don't think for one second that this won't continue under Clinton.

Also note that the only government agency that Bill Clinton cut besides the DoD was the VA. All the other Federal agencies grew. The Clintons have demonstrated by action they they despise not just the military, but those that served.

Trump isn't perfect, but we have a shot at the survival of the Republic if he is elected. A Clinton win pretty much seals our fate.

Let's take government and politics out of the whole equation but leave the young people. Yes, we have slackers but we have a percentage in all age brackets. Some just think they are owed.

It is rough to make a commitment when you live in today. Welfare recipients make more then a soldier. VA is crapping on the service personnel in need of medical care. What about you will follow orders from the commander in chief. Would you? Obama says spit and you are supposed to. Hard to respect authority or officials when they really are not much to respect.

In the early 90's I was making $12 an hour. I had a car payment and a $400 apartment plus paying on student loan. Young people now make $12 if lucky and rent is double maybe triple what it was in the 90's, college tuition costs have doubled. The young adults are mandated to purchase healthcare. IMO the young 20 somethings have a higher debt burden then we did. I think that is why Bernie resonated so well with them. Hard to make a commitment to something when you truly grasp the size of the mountain you have to climb.

I'll tag on to that and say that we have somehow turned minimum wage jobs into career expectations. These jobs were supposed to be entry level stepping stones, but when most of what we have is service based industry, minimum wage is where we will stay. If we don't bring back manufacturing jobs that require skilled workers we won't be able to provide high paying jobs. Open borders and loser trade agreements are killing us.

You cannot take politics and economics out of the picture. If you do, the picture begins to look like a Salvatore Dali special, completely distorted from reality.

"Was the climb up the mountain worth the trouble, pilgrim?"
    "What trouble?"
    Paraphrased from Liver Eatin' Johnson.

We all have a history, even if just reaching the ripe old age of 5. Whether the history counts for more than the price of an ice cream cone is to debate endlessly.

None of those young adults were promised an easy life by anyone that could be trusted. At this point, we might hope they learned and don't vote for those that promise rose petals and vicuna skivvies with robbed wealth. It IS political, more so than in the 70s. Back then I was making 10 frns an hour out of which came rent, health care, life insurance, college loans, car payments, wife and kid, and moving to where the work was every couple years and had already finished seven years of following the orders of the CiC. The "socio-politico-economico" landscape is changing with the election cycles. Always has, always will. Regardless of political persuasion, it's time for a change for the better, not a change for the sake of change. It's MY USA as well as the snowflakes. The difference is that we saw the mountain, knew it had to be climbed, committed to do so, and did it.

I don't think the mountain is less or more steep than it was. The footing is different.

Speaking of U.S. Service men and women, We never made enough, and the cost of living keeps going up and up, and up! I never received any pay increase the entire 20 year hitch, the only raise I got was a very SLOW promotion in rank! When I retired, I was making about $2100 a month after taxes! BUT, I am forced to use the V.A. system because I do not qualify for Obummer Care, I pay income tax on my retirement, and I have to continue to work until I die or reach 68! Worse, No one wants to hire an old broken VET that may only be able to work 10 years at the most, and even though they are forced to hire us, they always fill those positions with younger minorities to "fill the ratio" while we get screwed! If not for My wife's income, I would be living in a van down by the river. Through her, I was able to be self employed until I could find a job that put a mans skills first and respected his age and wisdom. I still don't make very much, but I don't hang off the Gubment teat! We need a leader who will do something about the V.A. system and force 100% compliance for health care for my brothers and sisters who suffer with the worst socialist care you can imagine! We need a leader who will raise the pay standards and the standard of living for us!

BS! the mountain is steeper then it has been because the debt is bigger, population bigger, I think we have further to fall. @Ganado just did a thread about community events. Shoot I would bet more then half the population does not have a sense community. We are so far from being self-reliant. @3M-TA3 is right about bring manufacturing back but that takes time and I do not know if we have enough time. IMO I think we got lazy. We have allowed, sat back, gave a pass one after another, now we are in a world of bs. Look at this... U.S. National Debt Clock : Real Time almost $60,000 owed per citizen. We were so consumed with living, we eased the boot on the throat.

Well Billary's plan is to spend $250 BILLION tax payer's (and with the White middle class being essentially wiped out, who does that leave? Billary with $2.4 billion in the "Trust" to pay for it? Oh, that's right, she's broke!) money to create "good paying jobs". WHAT good jobs? Obummer took $250 BILLION to rebuild roads, bridges and schools in 2009 (HOW much taxpayer money ended up in demonrat's pockets again?! Were ANY roads, bridges or schools - other than the ones leading to their private retreats, resort homes or clubs - fixed?!) and look at what happened, NOTHING! There are NO steel mills in the US that can build war ships, NO steel plants that can make tanks in one pour like they used to, NO lead smelting plants (ONLY recycling plants that used recycled lead), NO makers of TVs, irons, VCR/DVD players, or most other elecronics. How many clothing makers? How many shoe makers? How many computer (using all, or ANY for that matter, US made parts, other than solder that is) making companies?

Remember that $60 grand is PER PERSON in the US, or at least US citizen. No one really has any idea how many illegal are actually in the US and they suck a LOT of tax payer money. Just look at US hospitals within 100 miles of the Mex border. Oh, wait, there ARE no hopsital there because they were bankrupted taking care of illegals! I might go across the border and come back as an illegal, I would have more rights and get everything free that I now have to pay for!
