    COWBOY CAVIAR
    Ingredients:

    • Ingredients
      • 5-6 roma tomatoes, diced
      • 1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
      • 1 (14 oz) can corn, drained
      • 1/2 medium onion, diced (I used a purple onion)
      • 1 avocado, diced
      • 1 green bell pepper, diced
      • 2 tablespoons diced jalapenos (more or less, depending on how hot you prefer it)
      • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
      • 3/4 cup Italian dressing (I used Wishbone Robusto Italian)
      • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
      Instructions
      1. Mix together tomatoes, black beans, corn, onion, avocado, green pepper, and jalapenos in a large bowl. Sprinkle garlic powder on top, then stir in dressing and cilantro. Serve with tortilla chips (I suggest using the "scoop" chips- you are going to want to get a lot of this with every bite!).

    Easy Peasy...

One can Dennison's, or your favorite chili heated.
Pour over 1/2 bag of yellow corn tortilla chips
You can top it with shredded cheese, I choose not to

    Another...

    1 can Pork and Beans
2 cups cooked white rice (I know, not from a can, but almost)
1 can Vienna Sausages drained and cut into bite size pieces

In a pot, add Pork and Beans, 2 Tbsp. Ketchup and one heaping Tbsp. brown sugar and heat
Add cut up Vienna Sausages 2 minutes before rice is done.
    Serve over hot cooked rice

This will serve four, or two who are wet, cold and hungry.

Not a 100% can only meal but since it it uses 5 can, I will share:

1/2 lbs bacon cooked and crumbled
    1/2 lbs burger, browned
    1 med onion, chopped
    1/2 cup ketchup
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    2 tbsp molasses
1/4 tsp powered mustard (I use regular and squirt some in)
1 28 oz can baked beans- do not drain
    Drain
    1 can butter beans
    1 can kidney beans
1 can black beans (or whatever)
    1 can green beans

Throw it all in a pot or crock pot and cook for at least 2 hours.

1 can Old El Paso enchiladas
    1 can pork and beans

put beans in large pot, heat.

Drain the enchiladas into the beans and pour out onto a plate. Cut enchiladas in half, add to beans.

Heat till bubbly. Serves 2 - corn on side is a nice touch.

This takes a full day, but I had to share. 4 cans black beans drained, 1/2 pound thick cut apple wood smoked bacon crumbled, teespoon of "english" brown mustard, 2 tablespoons HD Sause, 2 table spoons dark brown sugar, and a liberal dose of no sulfur Molasses. Place beans on a paper towel on a backing tray, place in oven for 1/2 hour with temp set to 240 deg. When dry, place in Smoker for at least 6 hours Heavy Wet smoke. Add rest of ingredients and cook in crock pot on medium setting, adding water, and a few shots Jack Danials to keep like a thick Stew. Best with a hearty loaf of fresh baked Russian black bread bread and butter, and served with fresh blanched garden greens! Not quite a "dump and serve, but still pretty low labor.

SpaghettiO's with a couple of hot dogs cut up in it is as good as it gets. Also add cheddar Gold Fish Crackers. Yum. :D

^If you can get a significant other to cut the hotdogs, pour in the SpaghettiO's and heat it up it seems to taste even better. [afro]

I do the same thing, but add re-hydrated hash browns to 'lighten up' the hash.

Heat the hash on 1 side of the griddle, add the hash browns to the other side with a bit of olive oil, once the spuds are brown, add the eggs. Chop together and continue to fry till the eggs are done.

A big 'ol cup of hot Joe to make it all work.

    1 can of potato chowder.
2 hot dogs (Hebrew National!), sliced into 'medallions' (I watch cooking shows too)

Chowder goes on pot to heat, add the hot dogs. As you serve, add some shredded cheese to top.

Good for a fast-to-fix winter lunch

    (Retort pouch = soft-sided 'can')

I pouch of Tasty Bite Madras Lentils
1 pouch of Tasty Bite Jasmine rice
heat in the microwave, mix together in large bowl

    Eaten with corn chips.

A 'recipe' for the terminally lazy or a new Millennial that can't (or doesn't know how) to cook.
Great as a 'TV dinner' when you just don't feel like real cooking....

Aside - Tasty Bite is an Indian company that is vertically integrated (farm to shipping) and ISO 9001 certified - IOW, safe to eat. Found at Costco and Sam's.
